    Star Light, Star Bright

This is a new experience for me.

About a week ago I went outside to look at the stars. I was hoping to see a shooting star. I'm not sure what constellations were in view at the time. There was a star in the sky and below it one that was quite a bit brighter. I thought it might be a planet until it became brighter and then faded away. I was surprised, this was not a satellite because it was not moving. Then it reappeared bright, got a bit brighter, then faded away again. I continued to look, and it reappeared to the left of the star it had been below but much closer. It moved slowly to the left a little and then faded away, a little more slowly.

Never seen anything like that before.

Cool Dreamtimer, I have had an experience seeing unusual flying shapes/lights too, about 18 years ago. Kind of makes you feel a bit odd. that suspension between belief and searching for excuses. My friend who was with me at the time, now doesn't recall it for some reason. At the time we were blown away and in disbelief and decided to describe it has having experienced what it might be like to see a UFO. That he cant remember it now (he's been through the ringer) is frustrating in ways.

Actually, I have a number of weird experiences like that...None of I've ever been to verify.

Night turning into day for a few seconds. Along a route where there is a confirmed (been televised) UFO report to a local Air Force base.
Another when driving into believe it or not Roswell New Mexico on a business trip.
I was in Phoenix for a couple of days during the famous Phoenix Lights. I was living in Lubbock Texas at the time...(Lubbock Lights).

Other strange events like that but as I said I have never been able to verify anything beyond the fact that I glow in the dark.

When I was living in the Coronado Cayes, I had a neighbor who talked about seeing spaceship "New Jerusalem" in the sky's at night. It was a somewhat stationary "star" towards the south-east. At the time, I thought it was a little too woo-woo even for me.
