    The Coincidence Corner

I am starting this thread to catalogue all of the coincidences and synchronicity that occur to me and those close to me, with their permission.

Please log in and share your own!

I will start with one that happened yesterday. Husband and I got up, and over coffee had a long conversation about conjoined twins, based on a short story I started in the middle of the night.

The last time I gave any thought to the topic was at least five years ago when the story of two Canadian toddlers, joined at the head was in the news. Later in the day, looked at CBC news and there it was, an update, after several years, about their progress.

Good news is they are still darling and happy!

Please feel free to join in!

Yesterday I realized I needed to turn around to get to my destination. Just then the lyrics of the song I was listening to spoke of the right place to turn around. And then I saw a good opportunity to turn around and did so with ease.

This was extra good as I was running last minute errands before many guests were arriving later in the day.

    Great when that happens, Dreamtimer!

A few months after my husband's sudden death, I was puzzling over what additional factors may have caused his death. Shortly after concluding that I would never know, I walked into a magazine shop and bought a science magazine. The last time I had purchased any kind of magazine was a few years back and this particular mag, never.

As I looked through the mag, there was an article about a study that had just been released regarding new discoveries about factors that contributed to his kind of vascular disease. Not only that, the article described what the long term consequences could have been had he not passed away...and they were worse than death, as far as I am concerned.

So it answered my questions and was kind of reassuring too.

    Hi OG,

Sorry to hear that story...I'm curious about something...I think it might be called, the x-syndrome, where the disease itself can manifest in the form of heart disease or a host of diabetic related illnesses. Is that what you read about?

    Cardiac Syndrome-x.

I think this should be synchronicity corner. Everything in my life has been driven by it...especially since I met up with the GF some 44 years ago.
