Returning back to topic, the Weinstein case has triggered a number of revelations here in Belgium as well, from the world of actors, from the music industry and even from the sports sector. It's in the news almost every day over here now.

It only takes one card to bring down the whole house of cards.

I just heard there is a movement to expose sexual predators, harassers, etc. The meme is "Me Too!"

Well, me too...I was sexually harassed by a boss when I was a college student. It scared the hell out of me...it was my job and I depended on it to get my evening Whopper. And I wasn't particularly attracted to her. In fact, I wasn't sexually attracted to her at all, otherwise, I would call it a 'proposition' not 'harassment'. Food for thought! I'll skip the Nyuks, I am serious.

It is a real Mind F*&k Nap, (the mind turns it over and over and over again) no matter the age or gender due to the position of authority holding the power!! It is still there for you as this story depicts even after several years, experiences and wisdom earned.

Interesting that so far it's all people in the media/ entertainment industry who are being nailed. Hmmmm....not to say they aren't guilty, but...might the stealth Christian fundy right wing have provided impetus for this activity? We all know how they LOVE Hollywood! LOL.

That being said, I have been following Corey Feldman and admire what he is doing and hope these creeps who have built careers on preying on kids get what's coming to them.

But it didn't happen to me while working in the film industry. It happened when I was a child.
Much silent shame, for many years, in that it was a male neighbour about 3 years older than me and he bullied me into it ..and it went on for some months before we luckily moved houses.

I experienced that stuff too as a child. Life is full of sleazy moments and how we handle it as adults is part of becoming fully functioning (emotionally) adults. It was with older male non-adults. I feel no shame because it was part of the gauntlet we must all walk through to become adults. Some of us get rocks and some get pillows.

Weinsleaze is a separate category, IMO.
