Hollywood is little more than entertainment narrative that either contests or works with biblical narrative. Kinda like the book of Job good cop/bad cop set-up. Anyone ever notice how much in common hollywood scripts have with biblical stories with regards to settings and dialogue? It is why adaptation of the stories is so easy for hollywood. The scripts are already written. The latest Noah worked with apocryphal texts to break up the monotony. Bible thumpers were not happy.

Your three question marks followed by a face palm, suggested the question was 'despicable' --- in other words should not have been spoken. This is all beside the point and I don't wish to do a back and forth with you about it.

For the record, I think it's a very good thing that people feel safe enough to publicly accuse aggressors. And, I hope that it isn't limited to Hollywood.

I have a paralleling hope that it doesn't deteriorate into a witch hunt where people use an emotionally laden topic to falsely accuse others.

I can say, me too.
But I seldom have, to anyone. Actually only one.
But it didn't happen to me while working in the film industry. It happened when I was a child.
Much silent shame, for many years, in that it was a male neighbour about 3 years older than me and he bullied me into it ..and it went on for some months before we luckily moved houses.

that's a tough one...my stepbrother had a similar experience...

actually, I had some neighbor friends that talked me into trying to abuse a very very young girl. I went along with it by pulling the little girl's underwear down at their urging after hesitating with the 'feeling' that it was inappropriate. This took place outside in my back yard so it could have been worse but the boys that had the idea couldn't have been but 12 years old at the most. I must have been six years old probably.

Interesting that so far it's all people in the media/ entertainment industry who are being nailed. Hmmmm....not to say they aren't guilty, but...might the stealth Christian fundy right wing have provided impetus for this activity? We all know how they LOVE Hollywood! LOL.

That being said, I have been following Corey Feldman and admire what he is doing and hope these creeps who have built careers on preying on kids get what's coming to them.

He is a firebrand against 'predators' in his former role as an attorney general and Judge. His right wing flock doesn't care, he is still better than voting for the other party. Not only that, they don't think what he is accused of is sooo bad. Alabama, I guess. But these people are right wing christian fundamentalist. God/creator wrath is definitely coming.

A face palm is an emoji of frustration. I agree with your desire to not engage with me. This is the second time you misinterpreted a written communication. The main reason for frustration with forums for me. We have voice and face communications abilities yet most are content to opine as anonymous, faceless people. Extreme cognitive dissonance and victim mentality is another issue with trying to have a dialogue of utility.

Some in Alabama are saying they will vote for Moore anyway. This is where politics becomes religion. It's nearly an act of heresy to vote for a democrat for some people. And we have the media to thank as much as churches for that. The anti-progressive, anti-liberal propaganda has done it's job very well. Many believe that a purging of all things liberal and progressive will somehow be wondrous for society. They seem to forget that democracy was never a conservative ideal.
