I just saw an ad for the Waste Management Phoenix Open golf tournament. It struck me as hilariously funny. Makes the college videos of Stephen Miller going off on janitors even funnier. I totally want to go get some swag. A nice hoodie with the words emblazoned on the front. (I'd probably have to settle for a golf shirt and visor)

Since this is about chaos, I've extracted this from another post on the Joe Rogan thread.

I'm on a roll w/the Jordan Peterson/Rogan shows. In #958 at 1:33 they speak of Kek and Kekistan. At this point, May 2017, Joe knows the frog Pepe but not the connection to Kek and Kekistan. I'm gonna quote Jordan here, this is lusciously ironic to me:

"...Kek was an Egyptian God, and he was a frog, and he was between categories. Sorta like a transexual, by the way." Joe lets out an "Ooh" worthy of Trevor Noah's big jar.
Jaime pulls up an image of the memorial to the 2015-2016 Meme War and Joe reads the words and says, "What in the ---- is going on?" and throws his arms up and Jordan says, "That's the question you've been asking me. And my answer was I don't know, we're in a period of chaos...[wherein] the time horizon shrinks."

At this point Joe had not yet been familiarized with the term 'normies'.

    ***

In #877 at 36 min. Jordan talks about the space between categories: "...[C]haos...ensues when you start to blow up standard categories. There is a chaos in between categories that is made up of an infinite multiplicity."

So... agents of chaos on both sides and, as Jordan observes, conservatives are better at order. Hmmm...

And having too much order leads to totalitarianism.

I love to watch the smoke of incense as it curls and moves in waves and spirals and myriad shapes. It's beautiful as it dissipates.

Too many chaotic breezes just makes it shapeless and misty before it goes.

This guy is interesting...It does seem he's trying to frame the argument about 'political correctness' in a deeper context. While doing that he crosses the 'borders' of the typical concept and it might be that many people are misunderstanding him. I wonder if he makes an effort to clarify his position for those that have a lack of understanding without 'confronting them' I'm guessing not and I suspect his passive-aggressive personality likes it that way. His arguments are based on his games and perhaps not relevant to the greater society and what political correctness is intended to accomplish.

The other thing is that the arguments he levels at 'pc' are the obverse of the classic arguments leveled at the 'haters'. I'm left wondering which is which and that makes it viable in a specious manner.

Later in his presentation he actually refers 'to the game' and that belies his true motivation...I'll call it a 'Freudian Slip' on his part

Jordan talks about life in terms of games (this community calls it a ride) and even told Joe to be a monster. Joe pushed him on that because of the negative implications linked to that word. Jordan seems to believe that life is hard for everyone and we have to bring out our inner strength to live it fully. He also talks about the inner shadow and how everyone has one. He's not shy about saying we all could fall into the trap of being oppressors.

I went through the interviews with Joe in reverse order, so I saw his story unfold backwards (sort of). In the very first one he's clearly on the beginning sides of change and struggling hard, worried about losing his job, and really concerned about this Canadian law governing how you can talk about what it means to be human. He testified before the Canadian legislature.

He's much more dour and serious in the first interview as compared to the most recent. He's riding the wave right now, because so many more people are being exposed to his work.

He's a clinical psychologist which means he's been doing clinical studies for a long time. He has posted all his University lectures on his You Tube page so you can see it all for free.

His most recent work is around the Bible.

It isn't fluffy stuff. The lectures are two hours plus.

That's brilliant...words are a virus...that underscores my argument for political correctness even beyond that words are inescapably a reflection of the mind that speaks them. Hate speech is undoubtedly a pathogen. He makes good points and it resolves to the lowest denominator once again. Authoritarianism is the manifestation of the archontic, the animal, the demonic, the non-human.

In the interest of chaotic thoughts

A study done on Trump supporters evidenced the notion that there was only one correlative connection between them...not racism, not economics, not even politics...it was a desire for authoritarian leadership!

A book was written many years ago which many are familiar with called 'The Naked Ape' by Desmond Morris. Peterson is reframing that fundamental argument as a need to bargain with the future/a.k.a the other thing and applying that inclination of human behavior as one inherited from the 'chimpanzee'. Indeed, screaming protesters has always evoked an image of panicked monkeys to me, but I still don't buy the argument. Peterson's point of failure, in my opinion only of course, is his lack of a spiritual nature. That trait lays him squarely in his philosophical paradigm and one that I reject on the premise of 'incompleteness'.

lol...kek... He says one must be a warrior to navigate chaos...whhaaatttt?! A truth warrior? how about a social justice warrior?!

I'm just getting into his lectures and recently watched this one, there's so much material to browse through that it's going to take a me a while to listen to it all! My gosh, if this wasn't one of the better lectures I've seen in a Youtube in a good while then I don't know what else is.

My superordinate principle for the day...Kindness!

my hell if I fall off the path...becoming a Walmart greeter....or maybe the window person at McDonalds...

when they moved away from Peterson's area of expertise to more general philosophy Rogan was out thinking him. Peterson is determined to expect the worst from humanity. That's ok, someone with a functioning intellect has to do it.
