    Hurricane Irma

I consider myself a good person but I found myself hoping that Irma would make landfall somewhere in the Gulf, preferably in Texas, even better in Houston. I live in Houston and have been through several bad storms but have never been personally impacted beyond moments of high anxiety. I realized today how sick that was. My indifference to others potential suffering should be cause enough for me to infinitely suffer.

So I'm starting today to try to make amends.

We have a chance as a spiritual force to try to change the projected path of Irma. Why don't we try to make it veer North and the sooner the better. It's all about the power of intention.

    NotAPretender.

I'm in. Irma is being directed north. No landfall, anywhere. We need to increase the windsheer, for starters. Slice off the top of that cloud.
Windytv is a good site to work with, and also Ventusky.com

I love the initiative you are taking. I've seen this kind of thing in action before...it works! One example was when there was horrible weather in Finnmark, which is Sami, at the very top of Norway. A minister of their local Church decided to gather the congregation and pray for nice calm weather. To everybody's surprise...it worked, and in a very short time.

I have been part of a group in Australia that put a stop to a prolonged drought, we were about 50 people, and within a few hours it started raining.

My suggestion is to gather as many people as possible to focus on what is wanted, because together we are very powerful.

I hope it does work. I don't want Florida to get slammed. I don't want he Mid-Atlantic to either.

    Hi Elen,

it very definitely does work...I'm trying hard to stay focused and sincere. I guess in a weird way I'm an adrenaline junkie and always have been. It's not that I get bored because I usually don't, it's more that I become complacent about life. I'm fighting that urge right now!

    Together we can do it...

    NAP ...

At Paloma's urging I went to windytv and apparently around the same time I posted concerning Irma the host of the site posted using the word 'remarkably' one model showed the hurricane veering north and heading out to sea... A little hope perhaps and maybe he's a member of the forum :

I'm concerrned about Target and his horses. He is in St. Croix.

Barbados, where my family live, is quite a way south of the storm, but still has already had one victim. A surfer went out on the Atlantic coast on his surfboard and died there this morning. He was friends with my son. He was a surfing champion. This is the problem with people who consider themselves strong swimmers, that they can become reckless. No one is strong, when faced with the forces of nature.
Keeping my eye on Irma, aiming for her to head through the straights between Cuba and South Florida. And maybe make landfall in an aera that is less populated.

    that's sad, Paloma...

in Houston, a city of over 6 million people, my daughter's driving teacher drowned which was very ironic and sad for their family. This is the kind of thing that I was hoping we could avoid.

Be safe, TargeT. Hope you got everything boarded up. May all of you make it through OK.

I hope you don't have to endanger yourself tomorrow...I like your idea of a tree across the road.
