    Madras 1981-1982 - Question #6 from Question & Answer Meeting #2

"Kindly give a straight reply. Does God exist, or not? Yes, or no? If yes, how best to realise him in this life?"

This channel is managed by the Krishnamurti Foundation Trust, UK, and by the Krishnamurti Foundation of America.

The role of the foundations was described by Krishnamurti when he said, 'The foundations will see to it that these teachings are kept whole, are not distorted, are not made corrupt. They will not give rise to any sectarian spirit in their activities... nor create any kind of place of worship around the teachings or the person.'

We maintain extensive archives of Krishnamurti's original works and all four Krishnamurti foundations are actively engaged in the publication of material in various forms.

Our videos contain thousands of subtitles in more than 25 languages, translated by volunteers from all over the world. If you would like to help us with translating subtitles, please contact us at digital@kfoundation.org"

I agree with this man I also do not believe in any god or gods, not that they do not exist in there own right but a confidence in my self as my own god head or personal connection to my divine source or creative potential that I express freely as I understand others do also.

Some may believe in a single god or creator creating this universe. I feel it is a collective participation of everything that exists at once that creates the universe we experience today.

If everything has it's own consciousness that expresses its self in physical form and one by one was to remove it's awareness from this physical universe then there would be no more universe to be aware of. Now the same goes in reverse by conscious participation of conscious awareness expressions in a multitude of potential expression and you have a universe that is created by participation individually creating a one.

Krishnamurti may be a profound philosopher, but he is not a profoundly spiritual person. He has no connection and simply cannot speak with authority. He is without a doubt the protoypical Eastern guru. He's wrong though. He is stuck on the most simple of concepts. Did God create us or Did we create God? The human species was born with a spiritual awareness. Why is that? Was it an Alien Implant, a psychological need for a 'master' inherited from our precursor ape species? Let's ask Kanzi the talking ape if it believes in God. Belief has no place in 'awareness' but 'faith' certainly does. Why would he even use that word? My opinion is because he simply doesn't get it. Sorry, I would surely read his philosophy but not his spiritual 'belief' or non-belief is it?

I thought Krishnamurti had some good stuff to offer there towards the end of the video, no problem with any of it as a matter of fact. Emphasizing the need to do away with authority figures (the gods and whatever...) will especially get an applause from me, but he wasn't able to make the message near as entertaining as Alan Watts did.

Maybe he just didn't drop enough acid over the years, dunno
