There's always the possibility, that since the light from our Sun is the quantum waveform state of matter that maintains our physical reality - through observation (see the Double Slit Experiment for more clarity), that the shadow manifestation of snakes is a peek into the fourth dimension where these reptilian entities maintain control of this particular Common Reality.

There is also something ominous, almost memorable for me about this meteor shower right before the eclipse too! Like I should know that isn't a good thing somehow.
