The film focuses on the Silk Road, a black market hosted on the Darknet using bitcoin cryptocurrency, and the trial of Ross Ulbricht, who was given a double life sentence without the possibility of parole for creating and hosting the site.

Abby Martin has recently been discussed here and several videos can be found. She became well known hosting a show on RT entitled Breaking the Set.

As Dreamtimer said, Abby Martin is a rather well-known investigative journalist who started her own company Media Roots — together with her brother Robbie, a musician — and she has worked for RT for several years, where she had her own daily show called "Breaking The Set". She is very alternative, very anti-corporatism and somewhat left-leaning. She is currently working for TeleSUR, a South American media network, but she still resides in Washington DC.

I consider Abby Martin a hero for what she's doing. She is thorough, she's brave, she's passionate, she's very intelligent, and she's an enemy of the establishment. She's also an artist — a painter and a sculptor, among other things.

I am subscribed to Abby's Empire Files channel on YouTube. This is how I stay up-to-date on anything new she uploads.

This little video is also must see information. As most folks don't understand the inside of Silk Road and the suppression game being played by the Deep State (which this video does not mention per se, probably because the Deep State would smack 'em)
