I am reposting these important interviews here so as to make them easier to retrieve — with special thanks to member giovonni for posting these videos on the Cosmic Emporium thread.

Wow. Vladmir Putin is straight trolling Trump now. From Politico:

“If Comey will be under the threat of political persecution, we are ready to accept him here,” Putin said, speaking at the president’s annual, televised question-and-answering session with the Russian people. “It sounds very strange when the head of the security services writes down a conversation with the commander-in-chief and then leaks it to the media through his friend.”

Putin likened Comey’s actions to those of a human rights defender, even drawing parallels to Edward Snowden, the former NSA contractor who leaked thousands of documents in 2013.

The funny thing to me is, as far as hacking goes, (whoever did it) the Republican districts didn't complain about it. The Democrat districts were reporting it. Clearly the Republican's wanted focus on activities of the DNC and related entities. Def not on Russia.

Putin clearly knows America and Americans and the conscious mindsets which motivate us to do as we do. I noticed he was even driving his own car at one point. We can be thankful that he's not really an enemy. He is clearly also aware that a nuclear confrontation would be a lose-lose proposition for everyone on this planet.

I had never heard of Oliver Stone before, but I must admit he put together an excellent set of interviews, even though it may have had the opposite effect from that which he may have intended. Stone did seem to me to be made so paranoid he bought into the American political mindset to the point that he seemed to agree and almost was picking a fight with Putin. However, Putin didn't buy into it. He was smart enough not to accept being put into that position. As I said a very savvy politician.

I got the impression that Oliver was pushing the ideas that are dominant and prevalent in order that we might hear Putin's direct response rather than what's filtered through the media.

Oliver wrote Midnight Express and Scarface. He directed Platoon, Born on the Fourth of July and Heaven and Earth.

Also Salvador, Wall Street, Money Never Sleeps, The Doors, JFK, Nixon, W., and his latest, Snowden.

He's not much into fluffy stuff.

Midnight Express is as good as new, I love that movie. All the others are great as well! Oliver Stone is the real deal.

Not with YouTube, I'm afraid. The copyright Nazis are now using artificial intelligence to determine whether something contains copyrighted material. Perhaps another video hosting site like Vimeo, DailyMotion or Vid.Me would be a better choice to upload them to, but I myself don't have any copies of these videos.
