@KeepTrying: have you read Main Kampf? That primary source has shaped the conventional view of Hitler. Without reading that, any 'alternative' view is questionable.

Another thing I noted from Part 24 is a Winston Churchill quote from 1936:

No, but I disagree that any alternative view would be questionable.

The point of the documentary is the demonization of Hitler by others for their own agenda.

We need to be aware of all facets that go into the total picture.

Ah yes, the old british doctrine of the balance of power on the continent.
Never let any one nation get too strong.
So they stir trouble up with the others to attack number one

In sum, Hitler is claimed to be the illegitimate son of George V, Hitler was set up to start WWII by the "Royal Brits," Queen Lizzy II is a pretender to the British Royal crown.

Your title for this thread is "An Alternative View of Hitler": to delve into the mind of Hitler and form any view at all, it makes sense to read his own words. Why not go to the horse’s mouth to help you form your view of the man? Reading Main Kampf is depressingly hard work, but essential for anyone interested in this topic - especially if “mainstream history” is being dismissed as fiction.

Without reading what became the National Socialist manifesto, it’s possible to downplay Hitler’s obsessions with issues such as racial superiority, told in his own words: his pathological fear of impurity and contamination, and his conviction that the world was all about tribalism - a racial struggle with the Aryans at the top of the pile.

If you like, I’ll post some extracts of it here to give you a taste as you haven’t read it yourself.

BTW, that quotation - "Germany is too strong. We must destroy her." - is fake.

Churchill was not active in politics in 1936 (it was during his “wilderness years” from 1929 - 1939) He was not re-elected until 1940. Robert E Wood was an isolationist, but was no longer in the military in 1936: he was president of Sears Roebuck & Co. The only references for that quotation are from far-right, revisionist and neo-Nazi sites.

This thread is for the world to read, not just for me.

    I appreciate your input.

I seem to recall somewhere seeing that someone else wrote Mein Kampf for Hitler, but I haven't researched that.

Please do post about it; I know it's important.

That is very interesting, and screams out loud how difficult and time-consuming it is for all of us to do due diligence in research into alternative history.

Maybe you're thinking of Rudolf Hess: he was imprisoned with Hitler in Landsberg prison and Hitler dictated his thoughts to Hess who wrote them down. Hitler didn't credit him with his input when the book was published.

Why didn't Hitler write down his own thoughts?
