Mount Adams Washington Volcano Update;
Dramatic Jump in Earthquakes

In the last month, earthquakes at Washington's Mount Adams volcano have dramatically jumped to 180 times normal levels. This is highly unusual for a volcano which in terms of the last 300 years has almost shown no seismic activity or volcanic unrest of any kind. This video will discuss the ongoing situation at this scenic glacier covered stratovolcano, discuss why this new unrest might be occurring, and elaborate on the placement of new seismic stations near the volcano due to this activity. All of this will be discussed through the opinion and analysis of a volcanologist/geologist.
