I happened to come across an MMA event and Joe Rogan was talking about one of the fighters.

He was so LOUD. His voice on the podcasts is amazingly soft in comparison.

Checked it out today and very expensive supplements...apporx a 1.00 and more per capsule......for something that grows free and abundantly in the wilds of USA and Canada..surely it doesn't cost that much to manufacture :-( Maybe prices will go down when popularity produces more sales.

I posted the video by Joe from the Carolinas about growing gourmet mushrooms as an alternative to buying supplements.

This one is very interesting. It's about markets, game theory, education and more.

Duncan Trussell did an episode of Drunk History that my son played for me. Pretty funny but he got super trashed and kinda sick. Anyway, this one is really good so far. Duncan referenced a book written a couple years ago entitled The Utopia of Rules by David Graeber. Sounds like it's worth a look.

At around 45 min. they're talking about Weinstein and plants and it gets pretty funny (and gross).

At around 1:06 Duncan talks about the "neck-rubbing boss" describing the discomfort of the employee. I immediately recalled W Bush grabbing Angela Merkel's shoulders and the look on her face.

At 3:09:38 snakes come up and Joe makes my currently absolute favorite Eve quote ever: "It's true. He's right though. It was the snake's fault. Eve's a good chick."

    I love you, Joe.

well, I knew I would be transformed as a father...the one thing I didn't anticipate was being the father of a baby girl...truly, that scared me...I hope my daughter would agree that it worked out for both of us... One interesting fact that science tends to corroborate is that the only time a child truly resembles the parents is in infancy when the child resembles the father. If one thinks about this it does make biological sense.

At 1:04 they're talking about spear fishing and Remi recalls a free diving course where he could hold his breath under water for four minutes. It called to mind the Ice Man and his breathing technique. Wim Hof.

This one with Dr. Riordan and Mell Gibson was really good. So good that a tiny part of my mind was contemplating a trip to Panama if it were necessary.

In #974 Megan Phelps Roper is interviewed. I just was listening to Ron Johnson talking to James O'Brien. He said that there is a movie being made about Megan who is being played by Reese Witherspoon.

    Wow.
