This is super interesting. This guy went across Antarctica solo. Then later he rowed from the Horn of Africa to Antarctica.

This could also go in the Coronavirus thread. This man is an epidemiologist and they start right off the bat about Covid-19.

this is f*cked...this video is not making me feel better...

As a parent the 1st thing that occurred to me is that all those angry alienated kids out there are going to start paying their parents a lot more visits.

I was thinking of the folks who get sick, get angry, and then decide to go out and infect as many people as they can. Remember that happening in the early AIDS days?

Duncan is always fun. Their getups in this one are awesome. Duncan says Hollow Earth is way better than flat earth. Holla!

At 1:37 Duncan pulls his mask back and he has a beard and mustache. A really full set! I've not seen him with facial hair.

This is a really good conversation. Some is funny, some is serious. At 2:00:45 Joe starts to say he loves new comedy and accidentally combines two words to make a funny new one: comedics. (could be spelled a little differently) He didn't laugh, he corrected himself. It's a great slip of the tongue.

I kept thinking how familiar his guest looks and I finally figured out he looks like a friend of mine.

This is a fascinating discussion. Among other things they talk about getting off the planet.

Early in the podcast Eric asks Joe which of the Democratic contenders he would trust with the coronavirus outbreak. Joe says Tulsi. Eric agrees. He says he didn't like her 'popcorn policy' but that her military experience would help her to make smart and decisive decisions.

"India was not transformed by invaders. But it was changed drastically by cable TV, according to Raghunath."

I was going to question that statement until I heard it...The way he stated it is about the only way to 'cleanly' say it. I believe he's correct...long story though...not the thread for it. Perhaps when I get highly motivated i will bring it up on the Chaos Thread.

Where does Rogan find these people...just from a quick look, that guy seems like a really cool guy.

I don't know where Joe finds his guests. Some are recommended to him. Some he finds on his own and invites on.

Joe is a very curious person and a very open-minded person. And he doesn't have any trouble asking tough questions and pushing his guests.

Being a comedian he can be edgy and uses crude language but he doesn't make personal attacks. If he does, it's usually as a joke.

Erik talks about this podcast on Joe's show. Joe has had his brother, Bret, on a couple times before. Because Erik told some of the story and urged listeners to listen to the podcast with his brother Bret, I have decided to post it on this thread.

It's fascinating, especially after you get past the beginning part.
