I've listened to another show with Duncan. That one and this one are good. In this one they jump around topics and the beginning is personal and male and a little graphic. :batman I really like Duncan's honesty and thoughtfulness.

This young lady does spearfishing. Great convo, really good stories, and an interesting bit about the Wall Street Journal being PC.

This is a clip. Neil makes a good argument for having a Space Force as well as covering the basics of how govt research leads to consumer product.

Elon Musk will be tomorrow on Joe's podcast, it will be a treat. I hope something good comes out of it.

    Wow. Should be interesting.

It was funny when Neil realized they'd been going close to three hours and that people actually listen for that long.

I've never felt the need to watch a full podcast of Joe's before, but this one is the exception. A pot smoking, whiskey drinking Q & A with the Nikola Tesla of our time. Good stuff!

He smoked it like a pipe or cigar, no inhale. (at least in this clip)

Well son of a gun, I missed that first time around. At around the same time he said that although he smokes weed only on rare occasion, it has no effect on him anyway. Maybe that's why LOL! He *was* definitely hitting the whiskey on the rocks though.

You know I like to listen to a bit of various talk radio shows throughout the day, and then the evening news, just to keep my finger on the pulse of what the average person is thinking and being spoon fed out there. All afternoon the top of the hour news headline was breathlessly reporting the sharp drop in Tesla stock, because of Elon being seen smoking pot on the Joe Rogan podcast.

Then, the evening news summed it up with "being seen smoking pot, drinking whiskey, and handling a Samurai sword". That was it, and it was all somehow a very bad and irresponsible thing. Now I'm pretty used to being left flabbergasted by this evening bullshit they have the cojones to call "news", and this time was no exception, I just had to turn to my wife and say "well so fucking what!". Out of all the reporting throughout the day, not a peep about the world changing ideas flowing out of this guy's world class genius brain during the podcast.

I think Glenn Beck did hit on one possible good point, and another for sure good point. The first was that Musk is not really your run of the mill CEO, he's too big for that that's not really him, and being pigeon holed into it may be frustrating him. The other was that this particular podcast demonstrated how Rogan has not only far surpassed anything mainstream media has to offer, not only so far ahead he can barely be seen, but he's now lapped them and pulling ahead for a second one. And what's worse, mainstream media doesn't even realize it...
