R.I.P. Carrie Fisher (21.10.1956 - 27.12.2016)

And yet again has the Grim Reaper come for another celebrity before the year is even over. This is really uncanny.

Carrie was experiencing severe health problems lately. Only recently did she collapse at an airport and was rushed to hospital, where she spent some time in Intensive Care. But then things seemed to be stabilizing again, or at least, until today, when she had another heart attack. She was only 60 years old.

Although she's had quite a career as an author, screenwriter and producer, she was of course mostly known as an actress, and specifically for her performances as Princess Leia in George Lucas' Star Wars epic. She was only 19 years old when she starred alongside Mark Hamill and Harrison Ford in the original Star Wars movie of 1975.

May the Force be with her...

Yes this is so sad indeed ... But their parent/child bonded love will be celebrated soon anew ...

Debbie Reynolds is before my time but a lot of people may remember her for voicing Charlotte's Web.
