That would be quite a lot in Celsius, so I assume you talk about Fahrenheits.

It's rare to get above 30 C here and often it doesn't even reach that.

We were getting close to 30°C in the past week, but then it dropped a bit again. The highest temperature we've ever had here was during a heatwave last summer, when it went up to 41.5°C.

The lowest I've personally experienced — yes, I had to stand outside for about 45 minutes — was in the winter of 1984 onto 1985, when it was -25°C. A number of years ago, we had similar winter temperatures here again as well, but normally our daytime temperatures in winter don't drop below about -7°C anymore, and these last couple of years, it also never freezes for longer than a few days in a row anymore — during the day, that is; nighttime temperatures will typically dip below freezing for longer periods.

But then again, this is Belgium. The weather has always been extremely capricious over here. It's not uncommon to have temperature differences of 10°C or even 20°C in a single day.

I just checked, the warmest day ever here was in July 2010, it was 37,2 C. Not in my town though.

I don't really remember seeing the temperature ever going above 33 C in the thermometer here. Last summer was quite warm though, even unusually so. Then it all just stopped when August came and cooler weather returned. Usually April is still cold here, it's partly a winter month when nothing yet grows. May is when spring comes and also it can get warm. Then often the case has been that June has been cooler although it used to be warm, July usually has been warm, but even that's not a given these days anymore. As you can imagine, here in Finland the climate is mostly dark and gloomy most of the year so we are not exactly used to very hot weather.

Most people complain when it starts to get above 20 C which I find hilarious and dumb, because I feel the best when it's around 20-26 C. I don't do well in cold, also the dark winter is not good for my mind, maybe one day I will relocate somewhere else. It's not too uncommon for the temperature to drop below -20 C or even -30 C on the coldest winter days here. In the North there have been times that it has been nearly -50 C, but thankfully I've never experienced that. It starts to get bad enough after -20 C, because I don't want to go out then.

It got hot this weekend and graduation ceremonies had to be shortened. I've been sweating more in the last two days than the last two months. I hate it when the humidity builds so much at this time of year because we don't have our AC in yet and it's uncomfortable. Hard to sleep even with a fan. Not my fav.

But being with family has been great and seeing my son is the best.

Morning and evening, all. One more hot day and then some relief. Hope there's a warm fire for those in the cold.
