Anyone get a chance to check out the Beaver Moon tonight? In case you missed it, I thought I'd share a couple of photos I took with my Meade telescope. Sorry no ufo's spotted off the backside of the moon, darnit!

"On Monday morning the moon will be the closest to Earth it has been since 1948. That makes it the most "super" of moons — at least so far this century. At its closest point the moon will be only 221,524 miles from Earth, according to NASA. The last time it was this close was on Jan. 26, 1948."
