Texas County Switches to Paper Ballots after Software Glitch

Texas County Switches to Paper Ballots after Software Glitch

    by Logan Churchwell25 Oct 2016

Chambers County election officials have executed an emergency protocol to remove all electronic voting machines available during early voting until a software update can be completed to correct problems experienced by straight-ticket voters.

Chambers County Clerk Heather Hawthorne told Breitbart Texas Tuesday morning that all electronic voting was temporarily halted until her office completes a “software update” on ES&S machines that otherwise “omit one race” when a straight ticket option is selected for either major party. The Texas 14th Court of Appeals race was reported to be the contest in which voters commonly experienced the glitch.

Hawthorne explained that she expects the technical difficulties to be completely addressed by end of business Tuesday. In the interim, regular paper ballots will be used. The county clerk told Breitbart Texas that before the machines were pulled, poll workers were instructed to alert voters to the glitch and double-check their selections.

Chambers County sits east of Texas’ largest county, Harris, and serves roughly 26,000 registered voters. Hawthorne noted that since polls opened on Monday, only one voter did not have proper photo identification and was required to complete an affidavit to cast a regular ballot. Breitbart Texas recently reported a similar trend in neighboring Harris County where less than 10 out of more than 67,000 ballots cast lacked ID.

This is good. The more paper ballots, the better. Texas is Bush clan country, and we know they work with the Clintons. And the electronic voting machines are made by a Soros-affiliated company, and we know that George Soros also supports Clinton.

one county won't make much difference though....just like draft card burning didn't have much impact in stopping vietnam from going down

We're still over a week out from November 8th and news can travel fast. About a month ago I was thinking, Trump still has not really addressed the election rigging problem and unless his guys have somehow taken control of the machines, he's going to have to address that soon. I thought a month was a short amount of time for that, but sure enough it's become a big talking point even on MSM because Trump keeps bringing it up. So we still have time to get other precincts to switch to paper ballots, and maybe they already are and it's just not being reported.

Btw from what I'm seeing, alternative media audiences (people turning to places like Breitbart, Infowars, Stefan Molyneux, Bill Still, etc.) have overtaken MSM audiences in terms of numbers, and this is a trend that's been happening for a while now. Stuff can get around fast online and there's at least as much of an audience online, if not a larger one, than the people sitting around watching TV, which is increasingly just the oldest generations. This is a turning point both politically and socially that can be taken advantage of.

    It also sets a precedence.

How can any other county using the same machines claim they "didn't know" if and when they are taken to court for being complacent in "electoral discrepancies".

Suddenly the onus will reasonably fall back on the counties that they took reasonable measures to insure their machines where OK...

    ... and the DNC reacts.

I stopped watching the Young Turks after I realized what giant babies they all are. They don't need to be giving political commentary, they need to be in a nursery nursing bottles.

Check out how they flip on Alex Jones

Alex dropping in on them like that was admittedly rude, but that's Alex Jones and they already know the guy. They can't handle their emotions like grown men. They flip shit on even seeing Roger Stone. One of their guys even throws a bottle of water in Alex Jones' face and spits at him. Alex kept his cool the whole time. The guy might get worked up ranting about the elites but he's cool as a cucumber under stress. Compare to the Young Turks. That's why I say they just need a bottle.
