I'll second that. I've been disappointed a multitude of times at this point. But for me that's better than continuing to cling to an idea which isn't bearing out. And I'm sure glad some of them...

The civil servants who work day to day in the government will be hurt by the current shutdown. That won't do much other than to hurt families' abilities to make ends meet.
As far as the 'swamp'...
It's really just the rich, not the deep state. There is no real deep state. There are rich folks who lobby, and then control and own representatives who come and go.
