From my observations it's that people are basically tribal in nature, pick a team and stick with them no matter what. We see it in gangs, sports, politics, all the way up the scale to international...

The rights enshrined to"We The People" do actually still exist in all practicality, but it takes a lot of individual self education to begin understanding how to access and harness that still potent...
