Double donk thanks! (I notice he's drinking tea in both of these:tea:)
Be careful with Mr. Cheese. Some of the stuff he covers is hardcore and dark. Still funny.

That's from the album Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son, which I used to have on cassette tape -- the tape got damaged, unfortunately, but I do have the song on my computer as an MP3. ;)
I also like this one, from the album Somewhere In Time. :) I've actually played this myself on guitar a few times while jamming with other musicians. ;)

I never would have guessed it. I'm an Iron Maiden fan myself. :D

The Number Of The Beast... :) My brother has that album. ;)
The guitar riff from "Hallowed Be Thy Name" was recycled by Papa Roach for the song "My Last Resort" -- their version requires drop-D tuning, though. :)

I'm not necessarily into grunge, but the genre did bring forward a few gems, such as this one... ;)

Oh man, I had tears running down my cheeks from laughing with that one. :ha: :hilarious: :ha: :p
Well, once upon a time, a pack of spaghetti started mating with a roll of gift-wrap ribbon and they crawled in a little plastic box together... :p :ha:
Yeah, I don't really like their newer stuff either. Their older albums were the best. ;)

That was pretty good I need to remember that!
Going with a bit of a different vibe now, this here is the best version ever I've heard of this Stanley Clarke tune. ;)
Stanley Clarke and Larry Coryell performing School Days live in Sevilla in 1991.

Am I the only one who thought I was looking at a younger version of Obama when I started that video above?
Based on the singing he tried to do recently I'm inclined to agree. But to be fair he could have been a preacher.
This is for all my friends North-West of the Atlantic. ;) (Sorry, audio only, because this is the best version.)

Speaking of good bass players:

This guy has toured with Satriani. Part of me thinks, that's cool, while another part of me says he should have been playing his own shows on his own tour.
Yeah, he played on most of Satch's albums. I think he's mainly a session cat. ;)
Here's another great bass player: Billy Sheehan, together with Paul "I really like humongous headphones" Gilbert. They've always been one of my favorite bands because of their virtuosity, power and just plainly great music. ;)

And this one's for everyone whose odometer has already ticked over at half a century, although young whippersnappers are also free to enjoy this anthem, of course... :p
