I used to listen to this song a lot too during my late teens. It's still great.

Time for some Otava Yo again.............
This week's HSCC. ;)
Winking at my posts about Ovation acoustic guitars on the Music Gear Thread, I've discovered the channel of this guy below. His name is Mark Kroos, and he does demo videos for Ovation — he also plays electrics — but the videos below are from his own channel, where he showcases his own songs.
The twin-neck guitar he's using in the videos below actually has a 12-string neck and a 6-string neck, but he took six of the tuners off of the 12-string neck and he's using it as a second 6-string. As you can see, he's quite a virtuoso — his two-hand coordination is simply spooky. :belief:
She also sang the title track to the movie "Fame" — in which she played the role of Coco Hernandez — and the TV series of the same name. Several of the actors/performers from the original movie resumed their roles for the TV series, while other characters were portrayed by different actors/performers, including Coco Hernandez, who would from then on be portrayed by Erica Gimpel.
I'll ruin everything you are
I'll give you television
I'll give you eyes of blue
I'll give you a man who wants to rule the world

Ditto. I was in college back in 1983 when my then-love interest — she herself was also a good singer and she ended up in a folk-rock band — told me about the series. So I started watching it, and I was immediately hooked. I even bought the "Kids from Fame" album on cassette tape. I believe I still have that tape, but I doubt that it'll still work after all of these years, as magnetic tape does tend to lose its magnetic properties over time.
I saw the movie only years later, and that's when I learned that some of the characters from the movie had been rewritten for the series and replaced by different actors — not that it made the series any worse, for that matter. ;)
Yes, it does that if you quote a post with two or more videos in it. It's one of the known bugs in vBulletin 4.2.1. :noidea:
This week's LLB. ;)
This week's HSCC. ;)
So many artists too have been leaving this mortal plane recently.

and each appearance is as a pool that may refresh,
in which others may be refreshed...
Make the world a better place because ya have lived in it."
