yeah, Van Morrison, that is some really creative and beautiful stuff. In the days that I listened to Van Morrison, I knew some people that compared music to Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young and Van Morrison and claimed that this guy was the best in the world ever. And yes, they were hickabillies ... :)
Actually, there was a lot of surrounding drama. One of the guys resembled the singer and broke up a relationship between a good friend of mine and his to be future wife and ex. Anyway, during this interlude my friend attempted suicide by downing what was called a hundred lot of speed and had to be rushed to the hospital. I slept through the entire thing but I was told the next day, that my friend's hair was practically standing on end when they rushed him out. I doubt that was true, however.
