Freshly uploaded today from the HSCC. The vocalists, from left to right, are Kat Jade, Pina Del Re and Lesley Williams.
Discovered another great cover band today. These guys are from the USA, and like the HSCC and The Classic Rock Show, they've got a varying lineup of musicians. And boy are they good!
This here is their version of one of my favorite Boston songs. No shortage of guitars either ─ three Gibson Les Pauls plus an acoustic in this one ─ because they're trying to replicate the original song without adding overdubs. Personally I like that approach, because it means that if you get it right, then you can replicate that complex sound even when playing live. ;)
The song actually ends around the ~ 6 min mark.

Another multi-guitar assault from the Lexington Lab Band ─ this time an Eagles song, and an excellent rendition at that. ;)
This one's for BOB. ;)

Knowing how it works, the sounds made are incredible. Mastering the circular breathing seems almost insurmountable to me. It would certainly beef up the diaphragm and lung capacity.
Not to mention the cheek muscles. I bet there's some bagpiper effect. As in frog neck. It can be quite creepy looking.
He plays the piano with fingers very curled. Some people play with them nearly flat. His voice sounds like a violin when it first comes in.
Unfortunately, this doesn't seem to be the full piece.

RIP, a good band with some memorable beards. I used to think that they are twins.
