I know this song is about Eric's son, but I still dedicate this to my dog who passed away yesterday.

I know I've posted this song before ─ and as the matter of fact, not all that long ago ─ but it's such a beautiful song, and so ingeniously made, and I just came across a breakdown of the song's technical makeup by the brilliant Rick Beato, so I'm going to post the song again here, along with Rick's analysis of all the different sections and layers of the song. ;)
Hey Aragorn, I'm curious about the over dub? Is Plini doing all the parts or are there multiple guitarists playing? He does mention a bass guitarist. So in the end is this Plini's song or is it a joint effort? How is that determined?
Can you guys see this or is it restricted for you?

I owned that guy...I liked them quite a bit...my younger brother hated them.
The day I bought that album I was hanging out at a local drive-in eatery which a few years earlier had been the place to hang out (I had just moved back to town from the big city). These girls started coming up to me and being really friendly, asking me about the albums I had bought. I told them I felt they were kinda' religious in sentiment, so forth, so on. (Little River Band) The group that I was with gave them a ride (somewhere) and later I was talking to some people about it and they started telling me about the 'religious cult' that had moved into town. It seems they had a method of going down to the local eateries and schmoozing up to people to try to recruit them...They were known as 'The Way'. Weirwille (something like that) was their founder. And I had been thinking I was really hot with the girls...such is life... :)
We saw these fellows in Dublin. Ohio, that is.
Could be a song for Australia.

There's a lot of it going on. The trad grip isn't so tight anymore.
We saw these guys recently. So good. Mind blowing. I highly recommend.

When I read these comments in these (amazing) videos I'm glad I wasn't drinking anything the same time.
