Ok, I confess my friends always use to give me a weird look whenever that song played ... :)
Steely Dan ...
that's not always the same group of musicians is it? Because damn their good ...
No, their lineup has indeed changed quite a few times over the years. They're also transatlantic; the core of the band is British, but several of their past and present members are Americans.
Emily Jollands, the female singer in the above-posted videos, is gone again, and Jess Harwood, the original female singer, has returned. Howie Jarrett ─ the long-haired guitarist rightmost on stage during the performance of the Steely Dan cover ─ is gone too now and has been replaced with Pete Thorn, a well-known American session guitarist. The drummer and keyboard player are also different guys now, and their male singers have also come and gone. James Cole ─ the guitarist left on stage (from the audience's vantage) ─ is the band leader, and he and Wayne Banks, the bass player, are pretty much the only two band members who've been with the band since the beginning.
And yes, they are damn good, indeed. My brother brought them to my attention a couple of months ago, and I've subscribed to their YouTube channel. A few days ago I watched a temporarily uploaded concert of theirs ─ their last one before the lockdown, uploaded as a stream but now taken offline again ─ in which they covered "Bat Out Of Hell" (by Meatloaf), "Hotel California" (by the Eagles), "Thunderstruck" (by AC/DC), some Pink Floyd stuff, the Van Halen stuff from the second of the videos above, some Led Zeppelin stuff, some Beatles stuff, some stuff by The Who, and much, much more.
This here is their epic version of Queen's equally epic "Bohemian Rhapsody" from a few years ago. ;)
And this here is another Queen cover ─ from the "Highlander" movie soundtrack ─ in lockdown-style, with a guest appearance from Brian May. ;)
Ahemmm....it's never too late to show your hidden talents to the world. Listen to what Anthony Hopkins composed. And The Waltz Goes On.

Chris Isaak, Great song and super handsome dude too. His life story, childhood is really something. Thanks NAP
I'm not familiar with him, but he has a great voice.
This is quite catchy and crazy, needed to hear something uplifting.
Laughed at this comment too: "This is what John Lennon and Yoko Ono failed to create."
