I guess they are no longer schoolgirls ... Ph.Ds maybe? :)
you're right Mr. The Cid, They were only about 15 and 16 when they made that video.
I took my daughter to a theater once to see the play, "Dora, the explorer". Now everybody knows she just a little girl meant to entertain elementary school kids, on a side note one time in a department store with my daughter who i've always called 'baby' (I wanted her to name her middle school band that) she just got mad at me when I suggested it :)
Anyway, I heard a lady with her child remark, "I hate Dora the explorer" ... I think I know why and I was dismayed that my daughter heard her say that.
Anyway again, we saw the play and the main actor, Dora looked anywhere from 13 to 27 so I was interested in how old she actually was ... I thought she was pretty cute. Turns out she was 32. It was pretty difficult if not impossible to tell her age what with the stage makeup. I plead innocent to all charges. I suspect that the guy that showed us the Babymetal video new better so shame on him. Of course, he could just have been intrigued by the music but somehow I would question that given the immediate first impression that people get when they see it. One guy said he refused to even watch it (an avowed metal fan and a pretty fair guitarist in his own right) until I told him they were in their 20's. Incorrectly, of course.
On that note, How about the 'wiggles'. I was watching them with my daughter and my ex-wife and the impression I got was that's weird. Very similar that PeeWee Herman always gave me. The scene was one of very young girls 'dancing and swishing their horse tails'. My ex said no, it was just a cultural difference and i said, ok if you say so.
How about another anyway? The wiggles performed at my daughter's pre-school and unfortunately she didn't get to see them because her mother needlessly took her to visit family in another city the same day. In the balance, it would have been a much better experience if she had gotten to see them.
"Wake up, Jeff!!"
Wolves of the sea...........
This is the bestest version of this I ever heard................
This is a better selection than the other one I posted ... I don't know if it was done by cover bands or what but it didn't have that 'grab you' quality to it:

I think my cat is disturbed by metal music ... even ballads, he won't stop squawking at me ... what is the matta' with dat cat ... he's been acting crazy for a week. He's probably picking up my vibes ... :)
I can see heavy metal being disturbing to a cat. It might give them Cat Scratch Fever. ;)
This actually blew me away ... :)

Not to mention that, in spite of his far-right political leanings ─ and therefore that he was most likely supporting PooResident Trump's war against the Satanic Baby-Eating Reptilian Pedophiles™ ─ he's also a pedophile by the legal definition of the term.
Not only did he at some point get married to a 17-year-old girl ─ which could still be considered "acceptable" when discussing what constitutes pedophilia and what doesn't ─ but Courtney Love swears that she herself performed fellatio on him when she was only 12, and given Mr. Nugent's track record of hedonism and narcissism, I'm inclined to believe her.
figures Aragorn ...
Just sneakin' in here to ask where is the thread about The Host with The Most & His Shire at?
You know, the burnt-bacon nugget fella, with the hat?
Cause I gotta tell yoos, I'm greatly disturbed, disturbed I say, about how unwelcoming and unfriendly it is in that there other Shire. It's full of bloody clones, clones, everywhere, saying the same bloody things, again, and again, and again, and again. And aboooosing peeples, aboooosing peeples, new, old, anyone that's not clone thinking.
I'm bloody shocked man, shocked.
