no, it was 'easier' listening than that ... but this one is starting off nicely ... I had been trying to do some computer work while listening to Toto ... didn't get much done ... :)
yeah, i think that was it, maybe ... maybe i just listened ... no I remember a full album
Greg Howe?
yeah, that's it ... thanks!
A song for our times. This is the original:

Here's the first version I knew, and I did not know until recently it was originally a Temptations tune:

:)
I'm really impressed...
The live version from the "Falling In Between" Tour is even better, albeit that I posted the entire concert here ─ in the members-only section ─ and the video was taken down. For that tour, they had Greg Phillinganes sitting in for David Paich on both keyboards and vocals ─ David had chosen to stay home to care for a sick family member ─ and Leland Sklar taking over on bass for Mike Porcaro, who had at that time already become incapacitated by his ALS; Mike died of his condition in 2015. They also had Tony Spinner with them on backing vocals and rhythm guitar.
yeah, I wondered about some of the names ...
Howe is a freakin' marvel on the guitar.
One of many. ;) Have you ever heard Steve Vai, or even Tosin Abasi (of Animals As Leaders)? ;)
