I liked this song so much that I came up with Renaissance Faire lyrics to it. It's got the King, the Moore, the Queen ;), and more.

She's blonde now? Looks a bit like Scarlett Johansson.
Billie told a story about wearing a 'Billie Eilish' wig during interviews. She did that because in order to transition to platinum she had to dye her hair in stages so as not to damage it too severely. She wore wigs in the interim.
You sure can't go wrong with Jamiroquai, that's a great song too. :)
I do that while Dreaming. ...'traveling without moving'
Great tune.

You should see his car collection. :belief: The Lamborghini Murcielago he's driving in the official video clip is his, and the red Ferrari F-40 in that same clip belongs to Nick Mason, the drummer of Pink Floyd.

The thing is that when this song came out in the 1990s, everyone loved it, and everyone thought that Jamiroquai was cool, but had that same song been released in the late 1970s, everyone would have hated it, because it would be termed "disco" and "commercial".
In truth, I've always liked that kind of music ─ whether it was called disco or not ─ because of the groovy bass lines, the ambient keyboard riffs and the orchestral sounds. And if one has to stick a label to it, then I'd called it "acid jazz", not disco. ;)
It's a cover of a Radiohead song, but Frampton always makes things sound good. :)
By the way, the black guitar in the thumbnail is his once lost but finally returned-to-him 1954 Gibson Les Paul Custom, still exhibiting some of its scars from the plane crash and the resulting fire. And that's why he calls it the Phenix. ;)
Ashes to ashes.
Funk to funky.
Peter Frampton, he's no flunky.
(don't worry, I'll keep my day job)
Beck has, I heard, left Scientology. His celebrity protects him from them and their machinations.
I suspected that this song and the album reflected a personal conflict with him. I think he fell in love and couldn't be devoted just to Scientology anymore.
He discovered his humanity. Love (and lust) did it for him.
At least, that's what I think.

[Verse 1]
It’s not the words I want to tell you
It’s not the tension that I feel
It’s not the face that I’m showing you today
That betrays the way, the way I want to feel
What I need
What I need
What I need right now is right here
Right in front of me
What I need
What I need
What I need right now is right here
Only you and me
[Pre-Chorus]
A million times, a million thoughts
And I really don’t know what I want
But then I see you, now I’m almost lost
And everything that I know went wrong
And if it means that it’s done and I’m a fool
But I want to forget what we’ve been through
Just to save us both from what we knew
Losing our way, sometimes, it’s cruel
[Chorus]
No distraction
No distraction
Can I, can I be with you?
No distraction
No distraction
Can I, can I be with you?
They pull you to the left
They pull you the right
Pull you in all directions
They pull you to the left
Pull you the right
Pull you in all directions
[Verse 2]
It’s not the objects that I hold in my possession
It’s not the worldly things that shine
Sometimes the worst will come and bring us back together
Well, help me out and get me through that night
What I need
What I need
What I need right now
Is all right, right in front of me?
What I need
What I need
What I need right now
Is you – you, only you and me
[Pre-Chorus]
A million times, a million thoughts
And I really don’t know what I want
But then I see you, now I’m almost lost
In everything that I know went wrong
And if it means that it’s done and I’m a fool
When I want to forget what we’ve been through
Just to save us both from what we knew
Losing our way, sometimes it’s cruel
[Chorus]
No distraction
No distraction
Can I, can I be with you?
No distraction
No distraction
Can I, can I be with you?
They pull you to the left
They pull you the right
Pull you in all directions
Pull you to the left
Pull you the right
Pull you in all directions
[Bridge]
I’m losing time
I’m losing time
There’s so many ways
To live or love or die
I’m losing time
I’m losing time
I’ve wanted to know
Are you still on the line?
Wasting time trying to prove things
Instead of proving my love
I’m losing, I’m losing my mind
Oh oh oh
[Pre-Chorus]
A million times, a million thoughts
And now I really don't know what I want
But then I see you, I’m almost lost
In everything that I know went wrong
If it means that it’s done and I’m a fool
Don’t want to forget what we’ve been through
Just to save us both from what we knew
Losing our way, sometimes it’s cruel
[Chorus]
No distraction
No distraction
Can I, can I be with you?
No distraction
No distraction
Can I, can I be with you?
They pull you to the left
They pull you the right
They push you in all directions
Pull you to the left
Pull you the right
They push you in all directions
Jamiroquai was always my older brother's favorite band and then mine too. I really like that kind of funky, groovy music, and disco music too. I don't really listen to radio anymore and I hate most commercial radio channels, but if I happen to be somewhere like in a car and have to listen to radio then I'll always choose a station called Groove FM here, because they play only those older groovy classics.
