It's cloudy and raining where I am, I shouldn't have been thinking so hard about the 'Raven' this morning, it has put me in a dark mood ... :) Charles Bronson was also in that movie, b.t.w., in one of his first movie roles... He was the love interest of Price's daughter and coach driver for Vincent Price.
Bronson was one of my "idols" besides Clint Eastwood, loved their westerns and still do. :)Quote:

I've talked to a more than a few Asian immigrants that are just fascinated by those Spaghetti Westerns and the Old West... Pahdner, I've seen them all...repeatedly... :)
I heard the term for years and didn't really know what it meant until maybe a decade ago. I guess I never really paid attention to where many of those movies were made.

There is a movie I saw when I was a kid that I've searched for for years. It was about the cavalry defending a fort against united Indian tribes. It was an amazing movie to me. Wave after wave of warriors stormed the fort and the cavalry kept fighting them off ... it was a monumental battle.
There is a movie that was made in the 70's where some of my acquaintances played as extras...the tough guys. It was called "The Culpepper Cattle Company" A guy I went to high school with played a character that was hiding and dressed as a girl to avoid conscription into the Union army during the Civil War. He was caught and hauled into a wagon transporting draftees. This guy's dad killed his mother and I later rented the same house...it was haunted. A girl friend at the time, agreed that there was something weird going on there. Later yet, her brother was killed in a fire in the same house. Weird stuff.

Wow. Leo was so young. And so cute! The first movie I saw him in was "What's Eating Gilbert Grape?". Great movie.
