80 songs you didn't know were covers, and their originals
For some reason, this song popped into my mind tonight. It was a modest radio hit back in 1978. The band was formed by Ray Parker Jr., hence the spelling of the band name.
It's a nice song, and as a bonus, there are some beautiful vintage radios on display in this video. :)
One of my most trusted investigative journalists is Jon Rappoport. (As a matter of fact, I’m in the process of reading his The Matrix Revealed at this time.)
On his YouTube channel I came across a satire that I thought others might enjoy as much as I did. I laughed til I cried.
It is “Jon Rappoport triggered, talks with Bill Clinton from his safe space,” published 2 years ago:

:ha:
If he's been in that tub for 12 hours, then that water must be freezing by now. :p It wouldn't be a safe space anymore :p
Well, he says he's been sitting in that tub for 12 hours already because it's his "safe space", which itself is a term coined by the US alt-right as a refuge for people who are offended by alt-right vernacular ─ the people in need of "space spaces" are themselves referred to by the US alt-right as "snowflakes". There are plenty of alt-right cartoons ─ presumably all from the same cartoonist ─ that depict politically left-leaning individuals as babies with diapers and/or as stereotypical emo characters with body piercings and dyed-blue or green hair, and that show them inside a so-called "safe space" (e.g. a play pen).
So, taking it all literally, I imagine that after 12 hours in that bath tub, the water won't exactly be warm anymore, and thus it wouldn't be much of a cossetting "safe space" anymore ─ unless you live somewhere near the equator, or in South America, South Africa, Australia or New Zealand this time of the year. :)
I don't really know him, other than by name ─ several of our (past and present) members have been following him ─ but from the video, I would say that he's making fun of those right-wing memes. And that's refreshing in these politically polarizing times. :)
Welcome back, WantDisclosure. :D
The first time I heard of Rappaport was a speech which I believe was posted here. He's smart and has some good stories to tell. I had some reservations about him which developed over time although I can't recall the specifics right now.
Thanks! It's good to be back.
I wanted to support his work, so I went ahead and purchased his The Matrix Revealed, which will take me at least a year to go through. It even has a course on Logic in it.
Recently I read one of his blog posts that thoroughly impressed me: "Mind control and 'the flu virus.'"
It looks really uncomfortable in the tub with his raincoat on. Taking off wet clothes is a pain. Which is probably why he's wearing shorts.
I really liked this so I'm going to post it here. Thanks to Gio who originally posted the song.

How to train a wild horse the Danish way...lots of hugs and kisses. :p

A timeless song from one of my favorite bands, both because of its quality and because the lyrics ─ unfortunately shown here with some typical spelling/grammatical errors ─ are still very pertinent today. ;)
And now that we're into Boston again ─ R.I.P. Brad Delp ─ let's throw this beautiful old thing in here again as well. It's from the same album as the one above. :)
It looks like they have nothing else to do...or are they just ignoring the bad guys, hey?

And another one:
Kroke is a Polish band that has specialized in Klezmer music. They have gone right into the original Klezmer, i.e. the old traditional music.
