There is no other place on Earth like Egypt’s Giza Plateau. Anyone with even a slight interest in history and civilization is aware of this fact.

For on this plateau there stands the Great Pyramids and their sculpted guardian, the Great Sphinx.

Although there are plenty of theories, no one really knows who built the Giza Pyramids or carved the Sphinx, or when they were constructed. Any statement as to who built them, or when they were built, is pure theory. In light of all the various theories concerning these mysterious structures, I don’t think the theoretical nature of the pyramid builders can be emphasized enough.

What stands out at Giza more than anything else is not only the magnitude of the construction of the pyramids, but the internal design of the Great Pyramid; three chambers, of which one is subterranean, and their connecting passageways. The passageway that leads to the so-called King’s Chamber rises to a height of thirty-six feet! On the other hand, all other passageways were not built tall enough to accommodate the average man or woman.

There is also the unique configuration of the King’s Chamber as well as the Queen’s Chamber. Both of these contain two shafts, one on each side of the chamber. The Queen’s Chamber contains a corbelled niche built into its east wall, and the King’s Chamber’s ceiling is composed of five granite slabs stacked one atop the other. Why these chambers were constructed in this manner is unknown.

The official theory is that the pyramids were tombs, and that King Khufu kept changing his mind where his burial chamber was to be placed; thus, the reason for three chambers in the Great Pyramid. However, in comparison to typical Egyptian burial methods (the mastaba and the tombs in the Valley of the Kings), the Giza pyramids, and particularly the Great Pyramid, do not fair well within the Egyptian concept of a tomb.

The Ancient Egyptian View of the Afterlife

The Egyptians believed in an afterlife, and the tomb was an important part of that belief. As the tomb of King Tutankhamun testifies, the deceased’s chamber of internment was to be decorated with art and filled with that person’s possessions.

Why they practiced this ritual was not for superstitious reasons, as one might suspect. It was practical, according to their beliefs, and aimed at preventing that person’s energy (spirit) from being re-absorbed into Nature’s spiritual force.

For the ancient Egyptians, Ba animated a living person, whereas Ka was the energy emanating from that person.

Although not an exact analogy, the Ka and the Ba are what traditional Western thought might refer as spirit and soul. Another important aspect of Egyptian belief represented immortality, the ankh, depicted as the crested ibis.

The Ka, represented in art by up-stretched arms, was believed to be the part of man’s consciousness and energy (man’s spirit or inner quality) that related to the immediate world. It is the part of us connected to the physical body; where it lived, its possessions, as well as the people he or she was acquainted with.

The Ka can be likened to one’s personality, which upon death is separated from the body, and naturally seeks a way to once again take form. The Ba, represented by a winged human head, or sometimes a human-faced bird, represented the part of consciousness that is immortal.

When someone passed away, it was their goal as well as the hope of the family, that the deceased’s Ka would seek a way to remain united with their Ba. To help accomplish this eternal union, the possessions of the deceased were gathered together by the family and placed in the tomb with the mummified body.

Mummification prevented the body from decomposing and returning to the soil of the Earth, whereas the tomb, with the deceased’s possessions, served as a ‘home’ for the Ka. As a result, the Ka maintained its identity in the spiritual world and could seek out its Ba in order to achieve ankh, which resulted in the resurrected and glorified form of the deceased beyond the limits of an earthly realm.

Pyramids and the Concept of the Egyptian Tomb

Like the pharaonic tombs carved into the Valley of the Kings, royal mastabas built during the early dynasties – some as early as 3000 BCE – were also designed with ‘home’ in mind, as that home relates to a person’s Ka.

Case in point: from the sixth dynasty, Mereruka’s mastaba was crafted in mansion-like proportion with thirty-two rooms and adorned with statues and art depicting, for example, scenes of wildlife along the Nile River.

The traits of Egyptian domestic life, so beautifully incorporated into the design of their tombs, are not found in the Giza pyramids. The Giza pyramids contain no art or hieroglyphics of any kind, very uncharacteristic of Egyptian tombs. So why is it the case that the Giza pyramids are generally considered to be tombs of fourth dynasty Pharaohs? The reason is because of an association of the Giza complex with another development ten miles south at Sakkara where the Egyptians really did build tombs as pyramids.

At Sakkara in 1881, the French Egyptologist, Gaston Maspero (1846–1916) discovered that the subterranean chamber of the Pepi I Pyramid (second ruler of the sixth dynasty) was engraved with hieroglyphics. Over the course of subsequent explorations, it was discovered that a total of five pyramids at Sakkara also contained inscriptions, from the fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth dynasties of the Old Kingdom. In 1952, Dr. Samuel A.B. Mercer (1879–1969), Professor of Semitic Languages and Egyptology at the University of Toronto, published a complete English translation of “The Pyramid Texts” in a volume of the same name.

According to Mercer, The Pyramid Texts contained ‘words to be spoken’ concerning funerary ritual, magical formulae, and religious hymns, as well as prayers and petitions on behalf of the deceased king.

With the pyramids at Sakkara being confirmed as tombs the associative logic came to be that all pyramids must be tombs. Furthermore, since there are two cemeteries (mastaba fields) to the east and west of the northernmost Giza pyramid, assuming that all pyramids are tombs was a likely conclusion. However, the condition of the Sakkara pyramids – most of which are believed constructed after the Giza pyramids – poses serious problems in this logical association. Of the pyramids at Sakkara only Djoser’s ‘Step Pyramid’ is in good condition, although not really a true pyramid. (The Step Pyramid was originally a mastaba that was modified into a pyramid.)

All other pyramids at Sakkara, most of which belong to the fifth and sixth dynasties are in ruins today and resemble mounds of rubble.

According to a consensus of Egyptologists, Djoser’s Step Pyramid at Sakkara was constructed during the third dynasty and was the forerunner to the fourth dynasty pyramids on the Giza Plateau. After pyramid development at Giza, for whatever reason, the focus of pyramid building shifted back to Sakkara.

The Great Pyramid – A Device

The easily observable and obvious differences in the Giza pyramids and the Sakkara pyramids, which were all supposed to have been built during the same era, are a problem. Clearly, the construction techniques, as well as materials, for the Giza pyramids were different than those at Sakkara, or else we would expect pyramids at both sites to have stood the test of time in a similar manner. They did not. The important point is why. Did the engineers and construction workers of the Old Kingdom not pass along their methods from the fourth to the fifth dynasty? It seems they did not, which is a very curious occurrence given the stability of Egyptian civilisation. It may also be the case that the fourth dynasty Egyptians did not build the Giza pyramids.

No other pyramid in Egypt (the world for that matter) is like the Giza pyramids, and in particular the Great Pyramid. Additionally, there is no direct evidence to support the claim that the Great Pyramid, or the other Giza pyramids were tombs. Nor is there any record left by its builders as to what it was for or when it was built. This creates a problem of explanation. If the Great Pyramid was not a tomb, then what was it?

A mystical temple for initiation ritual, or a public works project designed to unify the country? Or, was it something else entirely? Theories are abundant, but the only theory I am aware of that covers all aspects of the Great Pyramid’s interior design, is Christopher Dunn’s theory that it was a device.

According to Dunn, the Great Pyramid was a machine for producing power by converting tectonic vibration into electricity.

There are a number of reasons to accept Dunn analysis. First, he explains the interior design and all other evidence within the Great Pyramid in a cohesive manner. Second, he demonstrates the technical skills required to accomplish precision construction. Third, Dunn’s expertise and career is in the precision fabrication and manufacturing industry, which makes him uniquely qualified to express a professional opinion on the techniques and tools of the Giza pyramid builders.

The fact is, modern construction companies could not build the Great Pyramid today without first inventing specialised tools and techniques in order to deal with blocks of stone that vary in weight from ten to fifty tons. Such an endeavour would be on a magnitude equivalent to building a hydroelectric dam or a nuclear power station requiring tens of billions of dollars in resources.

Although our modern economy is different than that of the ancient world, the resource required now as compared to then is the same! The stone must be quarried and moved and the workers must be paid. The fact that an extremely large amount of resources were dedicated to Giza pyramid development over a long period of time demands, in my opinion, that pyramid building was utilitarian, and not for any fourth dynasty pharaonic vanity of having the largest headstone in the world.

Prehistory – Evidence and Perspective

For me, the evidence clearly tells a very different story of early dynastic Egypt. Sometime around 3000 BCE, the establishment and growth of permanent settlements in the Lower Nile Valley led to the development of civilisation. Why Giza and the surrounding area were chosen as the focal point for early Dynastic Egypt was because ‘civilisation’ had been there before, as the three pyramids and the Great Sphinx testify. Without knowing what the pyramids were designed for, the early Egyptians also assumed they must have been tombs. As a result, they rejuvenated the Giza Plateau and turned it into a Necropolis, then expanded to Sakkara where they built tombs in pyramid form, albeit of lesser quality and not brandishing the skills the original builders of the Giza pyramids demonstrated.

Pyramid building, even the smaller ones at Sakkara, was resource intense, so the Egyptians reverted to burying their nobility in the traditional mastaba.

This scenario, which calls for an earlier civilisation with advanced technical skills, poses another problem. It does not fit the standard model of history. However, the notion that an earlier civilisation existed does not rest on the Giza pyramids alone. There is also the Sphinx, which in 1991 was geologically dated to between 7,000 and 9,000 years old by the team of John Anthony West and geologist Dr. Robert Schoch. Add to that the megaliths of Nabta Playa in southwestern Egypt, which is believed to have been a star viewing diagram, according to astrophysicist Dr. Thomas Brophy, that relates not only the distance from Earth to the belt stars of Orion, but their radial velocities as well. Another ‘head scratching’ discovery is the 1260-ton foundation stones of the Baalbek temple, west of Beirut in Lebanon, one of which was left in its quarry.

Clearly history has its secrets, but there is enough evidence to validate, as theory, that civilisation is much older than we have previously believed. History, according to the ancient Egyptians themselves, confirms this. According to the Papyrus of Turin, which is a complete list of kings up to the New Kingdom, before Menes (before 3000 BCE) the:

…venerables Shemsu-Hor, [reigned] 13,420 years
Reigns up to Shemsu-Hor, 23,200 year

These two lines in the king’s list are explicit. According to their documents, the total years of Egyptian history goes back 36,620 years.

The argument that the years in the king’s list do not represent actual years, but some other, shorter, measurement of time seems more of an attempt to explain away than to explain. The ancient Egyptians employed a sophisticated calendar system that involved a 365-day year, which was periodically corrected through the predictable and cyclical nature of the star Sirius. Every 1,461 years, the heliacal rising of Sirius marked the beginning of the new year.

A single Sirius cycle corresponds to 1,461 years, where each year is equivalent to 365.25 days. In essence, the marking of the New Year at the heliacal rising of Sirius was the ancient Egyptian’s ‘leap year.’ Of course, determining the length of Sirius’ cyclical nature requires stellar observation over thousands of years which means the origins of pharaonic Egypt, or its source of knowledge, must originate in the remote past.

Late twentieth century Egyptologist Walter Emery seems to have agreed in principle that the origins of ancient Egypt date well into prehistory. Emery believed that ancient Egypt’s written language was beyond the use of pictorial symbols, even during the earliest dynasties, and that signs were also used to represent sounds, along with a numerical system. When hieroglyphics had been stylised and used in architecture, a cursive script was already in common use. His conclusion was that:

All this shows that the written language must have had a considerable period of development behind it, of which no trace has as yet been found in Egypt.

Ancient Egyptian religion also testifies to a considerable period of development. Their religion, which is more of a philosophy of nature and life than it is a ‘religion,’ is based on a level of sophistication that, in all respects, appears more scientific than it does mythical.

Ka and Ba when placed together as one word could be the word KaBa = isn't that similar to the large cube that certain religious people have to visit at least once in their life?? When we put that word with the actions of the Egyptians and their belief in Spirit ... that is some interesting and very thought provoking information to digest.

Elen - Thanks for the link to the video, it is next on my list. Wanted to throw some food for thought into the discussion. Have some library books out at present - all well written and easy to read. Have borrowed three, with one focussing on 'Hieroglyphs' another with a focus on 'Pharaohs' and another on 'Egyptian Mythology.' Last night I studied the chronology at the back of the 'Egyptian Mythology' book and realised that I have never been given information about any dynasty until the 18th - 19th, that is where the names are the most familiar. Yes I have read a little about some of the earlier dynasties but I am throwing a focus on, textbooks and curriculum and even online.

The eighteenth and nineteenth dynasty are where Tutunkhamen and Ramesses I/II/III are mentioned and other more familiar names. The book I am referencing commences with the 1st dynasty listed as 3150 - 2686 B.C. It is listed as the Early Dynastic Period. I find it difficult to understand why only some names have been shared with the public. Clearly a chronologic order can be constructed to at least three thousand years before Christ. Why the dearth of information? Why is the chronology at the back of the book and the information not presented at the beginning of the book? Makes sense to start at the beginning than to end with it????

Late Period - which is listed as 664 - 332 B.C contains clearly Roman sounding names but it is not until 332 - 323 B.C that Alexander The Great comes into the picture. It is interesting to note that the Egyptian Priests took power into their own hands during the 'Third Intermediate Period' and I am still shaking my head at the use of the word 'Intermediate' and its context to three Periods.

So - it would appear that not only was Egypt a huge power source both politically, globally and resource wise - it still is and the mystery deepens. I think that anyone who is paying attention in class can realise that the pyramids; Were not built to be burial chambers. Were not built for Kings/Queens/Other but built by them - as a power source.

I have many questions about this topic. I am now engaged in Lateral Thinking - Deep Critical Thinking and Creative Thinking. Please share all answers with the rest of the class as you find them.

A couple of other resources about that period in history include Drunvalo Melchizedek and the reference book
"The Kybalion". The Kybalion speaks of Hermes Trismegistus, considered by many to be an alien who came to Earth over 35,000
years ago. He is purported to have taught the Egyptians architecture, agriculture, mathematics, astronomy, astrology, physics, and all the sciences. Melchizedek, like Braden has been there, and studied out what there is to know about these megaliths. I understand that even David Icke's been there and studied them as well.

Although Gregg Braden was one of the people I weened myself on when first getting into this stuff, at this point I would have to be more wary of his opines and findings. Not that I think he's a baddie in disguise or anything, just that I have come across things that cause me to question his judgment.

For one, he thinks (along with his buddy Bruce Lipton) that the UN is a good group to get together with to help spread his message. Then there is his book "The God Code", where he finds it exciting news that research into DNA shows our (supposed) Creator's signature, that creator being Yahweh. FFS, really Gregg? (LOL)

I would be even even more cautious of Drunvalo's opines.

I hold your opinion of Gregg. Want to hear what he has to say to see how far he has progressed into his new United Nations self. Bruce Lipton too. This is not to dismiss their valuable earlier work when they were independent.

I had a near miss with Melchizedek a couple decades ago. I think one of his apprentices wanted to recruit me. I was not open to any such thing. Does he train people to become some kind of reverend? She had such a title.

What if the 'Eye' is not actually an eye????? Some people think it depicts the human Pineal Gland????? The Ancient Egyptians did so love their make up and it certainly was a focus when painting their own eyes.

In reaction to the narrative: Keep in mind that no 'primitive' communities were without knowledge of resources, ecology or power????? The word 'primitive' is used a lot within textbooks, professional journals and online. 'Primitive' can refer to a particular period of time not necessarily in context to the lesser intellect of a certain community of people. The context of the word 'primitive' inferring that certain communities of people were not intelligent is - just in my opinion - not a valid concept.

Who wrote the Rosetta Stone????? We know it is a hard copy reference - my favourite kind - hand written/carved/inscribed. Who was the person/people who translated and opened up the pathway of communication between three separate and distinct languages????? I am thinking on a deep critical level not just about the actual person but the power that was yielded by those who made sure the Rosetta Stone was discovered and was given a lot of coverage. It features in textbooks et cetera while many other artefacts do not.

Giants - larger physical Humans, Animals and Ecology????? It has been suggested often by a wide variety of people that the ancient structures were built to huge proportions, well at least from our modern day perspective - quite simply due to the height of those who dwelled therein?????

Why have certain buildings and caves (surface structures and below surface structures) survived centuries of weathering and ecological impact????? Why have some survived relatively intact and others have all but perished?????

Pyramids and other large surface buildings - moving large blocks and the precision with which they are placed together????? All professionals appear stumped????? Again I refer to that word 'primitive' and compare it with the long lived and magnificent structures, that I am sure were not built by a 'primitive' community.

At ten minutes - Wow! Internal structure similar to modern day brickwork. Hanging, when outer layer is gone! Hanging????? So well constructed that even when the outer covering has been structurally compromised - the internal walls are still structurally sound?????

Twenty minutes: Builders were not aligned with the 'primitive' nature of the Egyptian Society of the Era????? There is that word again....

Twenty one/twenty two minutes: Gods - Giants????? Have been looking closely at the the Giants discovered in America and seemingly hidden from the textbooks. Perhaps the Giants migrated from Ancient Egypt?????

Twenty six minutes: Could the large internal chambers have been for the rainfall????? I immediately thought of the well preserved structures in India - with steps/levels of water containment. There are many ancient structures around the planet that appear to have been made to contain water. Have read many articles that suggest that Egypt was once a glorious green land ....

At the end of the video presentation I had one nagging question: Where are all the cutting and polishing tools????? The magnificent structures have weathered the sands of time but no actual tools/technology have survived, particularly where construction seems to have halted abruptly?????

All in all, I see similarities with regard to the architectural engineering of Puma Punku and Egypt and many other ancient societies. Did someone from another galaxy come to planet Earth and assist in a Teaching/Advisory stance????? Did an ancient society discover without external assistance, the natural energies and arts needed to build their communities????? Are the architectural wonders that are scrutinised on a daily basis: Here to tease our intellect? Here to stimulate our desire to re-discover ancient engineering? Here to show us that the way we live today is not the only option?

Whatever reason is due to ancient buildings surviving - one thing is for sure: We who currently reside on planet Earth do not have all the facts? What and where are the missing clues and artefacts that are necessary for us to make proper sense of our world both past and present?

Thanks for watching Amanda, you raise a lot of real and valid questions. And the truth of the matter, there are missing links that seems to allude us...no matter how much you study it. The ancients had a lot of knowledge at their hands that we cannot match even today.

I wonder about this also. I just laugh to hear people question sophisticated ancient advancement that was global and multi-layered. it seems obvious "monuments in stone" are probably much older than traditionally thought but hard to place in time.
For instance since so many cultures have the gigantic megalithic architecture that has survived intact and many similarities as we know, this means to me that SOMEWHERE there must be the nuts and bolts "how to do it" manuals?

Then I notice that we have "genii" in the last centuries who "received" highly technical and practical information. How can we tap in there? That leads me to curiosity about the Akashic record. Can we access the information from a transcendent source? I have tried to study what people say about the akash and it seems quite hit or miss to me in authenticity.

The ones I have seen who purport to read these records do not often bring nuts and bolts useful information.

Looking at the examples of ancient works, wherever you find technologic signatures, that they are related seems obvious.

Example;
The smooth glass-like surfaces where megatons of internal stone is removed goes along with detailed sculptures OR not one mark. The caves in India have the signature of carved out space and this is found in other places.

These examples are different than megalithic blocks stacked (and the stacking varies in style too: polygonal and other types).

There is shaping of earth on various scales (like what I think occurred in Bosnia). There is the Underground that looks deliberately placed (like Turkey) and some things found underground may have been above ground when constructed and covered by dirt (I bet North America's ancient construction has been covered over????).

It is just mind blowing and a bit frustrating. I deeply wish to know the truth of history and the more I look, the less clear everything becomes.
One question I have is "Will I ever know anything in this lifetime?"

I feel the same way, Maggie. The unlearning comes first. Then the learning. I feel like I'm living in two worlds. The regular one where I have regular interactions with regular people and then the alternative world where I'm questioning everything and rearranging my perspectives.

Yes really! Yahweh is from the E.T. race The ELohim. EL means ‘Him’. The ELohim are one of the E.T. races who are ‘guardians’ of this planet. And it’s no secret that the E.T.’s are very much concerned with DNA. This is what the research is showing. Gregg’s findings are falling in line with my own independent research, but from a different perspective. As mentioned in The Great Experiment thread, I noticed in several of my past lives and the past lives of those from my soul group (ArchangEL MichaEL and RaphaEL), the word ‘guardian’ was following some of us from one incarnation to the next. It’s not a coincidence, it suggests a pattern and a pattern usually means a deeper meaning behind the occurrence. For example In my life as Saint Mary HELena Salome(Salome means ‘peace’), we were followers of Jesus and messengers of the ArchangELs who are also known to be The ELohim. This suggests a form of responsibility. And it’s why some of us are incarnating into the royals lines. To understand our intentions and why we are here, you need to be able to see who we were in past lives as that is where our intent can be revealed.

I’ve also mentioned that words have vibrational meaning as each letter in the alphabet has a number associated to it. And it would, as numbers suggest a pattern and patterns are what can be found within the confines of a computer simulation. I’ve also noticed similar or exactly the same names repeating within our soul group which suggests there must be some type of vibrational meaning that I do not fully understand, but can see….. ELeanor, ELizabeth, ELen, HELena, SELene, ArchangEL GabriEL, ArchangEL RaphaEL, MichaEL these are just a few of the names found within our soul group.

I have yet to read Gregg’s ‘God Code’ but was aware of his research several years back. I Googled the topic and came up with an article which briefly discusses a synopsis of Gregg’s work The God Code. Low and behold, it touches on aspects I’ve pointed out in The Great Experiment thread, imagine that. Oh and how funny….it discusses the ‘Know Thyself’ maxim just as I’ve mentioned and exactly what’s shown in the famous likely CIA influenced Wachowski movie series, The Matrix.

Notice 3 elements? Notice 1, 5, and 6 add up to 3…The number of the ‘gods’. It’s not a coincidence.

This is why I’ve put so much time into studying reincarnation cases, as I could see the real story being uncovered right before my very eyes. The truth is there…you just have to know how and what to look for in order to determine the relevance to the bigger picture. Gregg is doing the same as myself and I can see his work is reinforcing my own, yet from a different angle, and I find it exciting to discover the cross-references in the work of other researchers. Many of them forget to include the mechanics of reincarnation into their theories. I understand as if they don’t have identities of key individuals in their grasp, they are unable to see the value; so inaccurate general assessments will be made. It doesn’t necessarily mean these researchers are malicious or ill-intended. They just don’t have all the missing pieces to the puzzle to come to a more rounded conclusion. Another example is the work of Mauro Biglino.

You can look at the Greek gods and see this division taking place in the stories. However the last statement is inaccurate because like I said, the researcher is lacking information. To understand this you have to be aware of the past lives and the roles some of the Greek gods have played in history. The point being to see their intentions! When you can see their intentions you can then see if they have the best interest of the people in mind. It does not mean they are perfect, they do make mistakes, but they are all not malicious.

It’s easy to walk away with the impression that many of the Greek gods who are from The ELohim were out of control and unruly in their notable roles. However as you go further along in history and become aware of their other past lives, you see them in roles that support the people, build communities, schools, churches and hospitals and in a sense suggesting a ‘guardianship’ role. This obviously doesn’t fit the narrative of an ‘elite’ controller. This should tell you the assumption/conclusion being made is not completely accurate.

Reincarnation strongly suggests that life on planet Earth is merely an illusion and isn’t what’s ‘real’, but rather a school for souls to learn and grow. Understanding this makes you realize we are playing roles as that’s what the research shows through studying NDE’s, Past Life Regression and Reincarnation cases. Which means we aren’t victims of unfortunate situations, but rather at times, put into difficult situations so we have the opportunity to make the correct choices and learn lessons we pre-planned before birth with members of our soul group.
