Nice to see ya droppin in, Seen the old/new Tent ?
Hi, not sure, just trying to be around for some time :) I don't understand what "old/new Tent" means :/ I'm sorry

It's a thread called Rhosgobel Tent At TOT. ;)
I wish my friend Michele was around. She could real the cyrillic for me and tell me what they're singing about. She told me back in the day that Russian was pretty easy to learn. Her favorite poet was Pushkin.
I've been doing a lot of embroidery and in the process have discovered a great deal of Russian embroidery videos. I hadn't known they were so good.

Oh i'm sorry, i will try to post lyrics next time, it's just very hard to translate into something that means the same, or sounds good. I have tried too many times but i never succeed in making the words and sentences sound natural and pretty, or translate the meaning at all sometimes
I still use a lot of autocorrect and sometimes google translate helps me a lot to figure out correct sentences :/
From English to Russian may not be that easy, but if you know a bit of Spanish, it helps a lot to learn Russian, because of very similar aspects of the languages
For me it has been very very hard to learn English, i can't speak it yet, only very limited. But i can write/read it and need help with subtitles in movies
Problem is this, 'a' in English is not pronounced like 'a' in Russian or Spanish, it sounds like 'ey' or something like that, but on Russian or Spanish, it just sounds like 'ah' and the same for other characters, and then 'y' in Russian sounds like oo, but on English sounds like 'why' and on Spanish sounds like 'yeh', for me it's a lot more easy to learn Spanish because most letters that match sound the same as written (i don't know if that makes any sense lol) but for example
In spanish pronunciation
e sounds like eh
a like ah
d like deh
b like beh
or stuff like that
but in English
a like 'ey'
d like 'dee'
b like 'bee'
And so on
So keeping up is hard for me :/
And then one time i had a very embarrassing situation at home, because we had guests from the US and i wanted to talk to them in English, but my pronunciation is so bad that i said "comfortable" as it was a Spanish word or worse, sort of like 'corn off table' LMAO, everyone made fun of me and i hated that moment :P
It's so difficult so i understand but if you learn a bit of Spanish first, then Russian probably will be way easy to learn, both languages share a lot of aspects but Spanish is a lot more easier at first :)
I like English and always wanted to learn Spanish too as it seems to be a fairly easy language to learn.
Russian on the other hand I can barely understand even though I've heard it quite a bit. Nice language though.
Sasha Sokolova was awesome, unfortunately passed away from cancer in September 2015, she lied for a lot of time about how she was feeling and due to that it was too late when she finally got medical help :(
On this video, she only had a few months left, yet she acted as if nothing was wrong, even though pain was killing her day by day. I guess a show of how strong she was, even if dumb because this did not had to happen at all :/

This is a kind of weird song, but its more or less due to opening talking about some stuff like pedophilia in Russia which happens a lot, i can see in other countries people rather not talk about it even if they know it's out there, but i believe it has to be talked openly so people are more aware of it in the ways it really happen

I noticed it is very popular in TikTok on the US, but people change the meaning to relate their own stuff, like "i want to go to a party" and then the dad/mom says "no" and the conversation goes like that instead of the guy with the little girl :)
It makes me feel so much pain in my soul. Watching her like that, unable to stand, but strong and willing, even with lack of breath and in pain, how much i love you Sasha

Shall have beers in your honor :love2:

Wow. Tiffany. Haven't thought of her in a while. Blast from the past.
She did a 2019 remake of the song.
