So beautiful!
I went the highest I've ever gone, to 10,000 ft. Up a tram. It was magnificent, and a thunderstorm came close to visiting. It just waved.
Here is a navy seal's take on Alex and his climb up El Capitain.

This is a short piece about the filming of Free Solo.

To me this is absolutely crazy! But there are some who need the thrill of it...
Andrew announced his candidacy for president in 2017. He addresses the issues with jobs being lost to tech. Beyond retail and Amazon, back-room jobs will be lost across the board.
This will include insurance folks, bank tellers, truck drivers, and many many more.
It's easy for someone to tell you to get a job. It's not so easy when jobs are disappearing at an alarming rate...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cTsEzmFamZ8
At 49 minutes Andrew addresses how the media is not being honest about the economic drivers and instead are using the trigger issues: racism, Russia, Facebook, the FBI, (a.k.a. dog whistle and gas lighting, media style).
Quote:
...if you look at the voter district data, on a district by district basis, there is a straight line up between the adoption of industrial robots in that voting district and the movement towards Trump.
Hmmm. Where are all the posts about that? :scrhd::hmm::scrhd::hmm:
At 58:40 minutes...GDP is an outdated metric. "Self-driving trucks are going to drive GDP way up, but it's going to be very very bad for many people and communities."
"If we're all 'inputs to the market' we're all gonna lose to AI."
Andrew is not at a loss for ideas and solutions. In fact, it seems like he's applying his entrepreneurial experience, and some basic nuts and bolts, to get at real paths forward.
At 1:11...addressing some real ways to stimulate the economy.
Later on they discuss student loans.
Andrew understands that money given to people who don't make enough goes right back into the economy. Which created more jobs down the line.
All down the line.;)

I was watching some excerpts on Rogan last night...he was interviewing Bob Lazar...it was interesting. Rogan is good.
If I did something really cool, maybe I could be on his podcast.
But I ain't going into his cold therapy machine!
I think Lazar is the real deal, here is another video of him in a Q & A about his working at S4 reverse engineering UFOs.
