“Syncretism is a double-edged sword, for it can connect dots and increase clarity, yet it can blur the picture. Because the ancient world was entirely syncretic in its outlook, and said this god is (like) this god is (like) this god, that created much blur, as well as some accuracies.
For instance, the Greek name Hermes was applied to both the Egyptian gods Thoth and Anubis (seen in the transitional cult of Hermanubis) because they saw likenesses in both to their idea of Hermes. Yet Thoth and Anubis are distinctly different gods with different attributes, stories and roles in the Egyptian myths.
From an ET point of view, a 'sun god' would simply mean one entering the solar system through the higher dimensional 'stargate/portal' of the Sun. Earth humans put their 'sun gods' together, of which an Egypto-Greek example would be the cult of Horapollo. Yet the Egyptian myths spoke of at least three distinct Horuses/Hor-ur, Horus the Elder, husband of Isis; Horus the son, of Isis and Osiris, and Horus-Ra, or Horakhty.
This is why I say to understand who is who, and what is what, in other dimensions, at a deeper level, requires more than the logic of the mind.”
