From my understanding of higher dimensional spacetime, once you move into higher dimensions, time becomes just another dimension to traverse. Theoretically, for a higher-dimensional being (Say 5, or 6-dimensional), it would be just as easy to go back to a previous point in time, as it is for us to return to the starting point when doing a pleasant walk-loop in the forest.
However, I did not get the first part of your comment, it doesn’t sound familiar from any of the standard models of physics. Are you referring to some version of Many Worlds Theory perhaps?
