Maajid Nawaz is an interesting fella. He used to be a radicalist and now he's a counter-extremist. I have to say that even though Sam Harris is very intelligent, I don't particularly agree with him or like many of his sentiments. Also his militant atheism is off-putting. Still looking forward to his next debate with Jordan Peterson though.
Jordan gets going and gets passionate. I watched all the shows he did with Rogan. He came off as most reasonable on those shows. Some others I listened to he was being emotional, and subjective and definitely sounding paranoid.
He does have valid concerns. And as such he needs to be careful not to sound too unscientific. Psychology is already pretty inexact.
Sure, when you have folks attacking you, you have to be pretty level-headed to defend, make points, and not come off looking like an ass. There is no way I can do such, plus I like throwing bombs and using trigger words...even when Iām on me meds :smiley-dance013:
Read his 12 rulesies somewhere here on forum, was thought provoking, liked some of them.
Check out at 9 minutes in what Abbey says about the Deep State, the military industrial complex, and the absence of any true power on the left. She's pretty spot on.

I've really enjoyed this one. :like:
It's always good to see Abby Martin in a more relaxed setting, as opposed to when she's assuming her role as show host, interviewer or presenter, having to stick to a list of questions and/or a time table. Not that she doesn't do that very well either ā on the contrary ā but at least now you get to hear her talk about how she really feels about what's going on out there, and about what makes her tick. ;)
I don't watch talking heads news shows really, so have no idea who this Abby road rockstar is you all are loving on. But the intrigue has convinced me to have a look. Will it all be lost on me? not being a jibber jabber junkie? (you know I love you all right?)
Abby Martin is an investigative journalist, and for that matter, one who is not afraid to put her own life on the line to bring out the truth. She's very much anti-establishment, and she says it like it is, whether she is threatened and criticized or not. She has integrity and she's very courageous.
She had her own show on RT until a few years ago, called "Breaking The Set", in which she exposed the corruption of the corporately controlled mainstream media on a daily basis. She eventually left RT in order to start her own production company, and she is now regularly publishing documentaries and interviews under the YouTube channel Empire Files.
There are several of her documentaries, interviews and other videos here at The One Truth in our Library section.
Good to listen to some Americans (not from this site) that can see the way their culture and the rest of the world is, calmly and insightfully.
I had the same feeling from the one or two other times I have listened to bits of it.
Good to see that others see through world events also, no huge revelations for me, and I started thinking about my bandwidth allocations so stopped halfway in.
Thanks Aragorn, I had already googled her..and seen her about.. just don't take too much notice of their names or follow them about.
And she is only 33 born on the same day as my sister but 12 years apart making them both rats. My sis works in a new form of teaching for children in daycare.
I better come back and fix the way I said the first bit, it read a bit mangled.
Here's the whole show with Matt Taibi. He writes for Rolling Stone.
At 24 minutes Joe brings up the subject of Trump being on diet supplements that are stimulants. He had a Manhattan "Dr. Feelgood". He went off the one because of dangers associated with long-term use and is now on another.
At 31:30 they show tweeted reports about this, and then they discuss a doctor change.
