Looks good...
I watched this last night...A high school girl summoned a 'dark spirit' to kill her mother and then...changed her mind. It didn't work out for her. It was actually 'scary'.

I watched this last night to get a feel about Iranian culture. I don't know if I was being misled by a 'movie' but the impression I got was a little surprising to me. Of course, the actual crimes took place in the 80's which was early in the religious effort to undo secular society but it seemed a 'looser' society than I expected. The movie itself did not paint the 'corrupted' women in the sexualized method that Western movies do that's for sure. Some of the portrayed social attitudes were sobering if not enlightening. The supposed encouragement of the son to continue the father's work was interesting yet shocking and sickening at the same time. A fine example of humanity at its worst.
I did pick up on some language similarities

I watched this one on TV many years ago. It was pretty scary. But then again, the screenplay was written by Stephen King, so... ;)
Can't wait for Martin Scorcese's new movie. He's my favorite director! The latest season of Love, Death and Robots on Netflix is great--particularly the one with Indian feel and violent water nymph, or however that translates from our culture to their culture.

Watched this last night, it borrowed from a number of flicks of the same genre. As far as I know, it garnered no press but it was scary and weird. It was so intense I wasn't sure I was going to be able to keep watching it. In intensity, it reminded me of Japanese produced movies. The star was pretty hot to boot.

I'm glad I got to see John Wick Part 4. All around I think it's the best current action out there, it's just so well choreographed that it puts many other western action movies into shame. Good cast, great performances too and very enjoyable action flick. I would only give some minus about the very long length although at home you can watch in parts and also some of the CGI is quite obvious, but it's no big issue.
Dang, you purtneer trailored the entire movie. I'll definitely watch it. Wick is still pissed, doing the double-tap.
I watched this the other night. It was filmed in Poland I believe. She be one bad Mujer: "I just saw this comment... "only fifteen minutes into the movie, and i'm loving it........ she's a badass. Love the cinematography. I hope there's second to this movie T_T So nice. Gott o say great stuntman and casting. John wick good level yow. SOOOOO good."
I don't know about all that... :)

I've watched a couple of strange movies in the last couple of days. This one was a low-budget sci-fi but it was fascinating in its way. It was on Prime, I gotta say, by the time one gets streaming services to watch favorites the cost is ridiculous. I'm considering wiring back up. If I could get fiber on my side of the street I might even consider AT&T despite my visceral hatred for them. :)
