Oh boy. Italy must be upsetting the controllers and being given a warning. 10 km is that signature. It has not allowed any nuclear reactors and doubled down on preventing them since Fukushima. Reptilians like their environment with some radioactivity. They also hate Gaia/Sophia and just get a thrill destroying or degrading Her and her offspring. I think Italy is also making nice with Russia and must be chastened for such independent behavior.

Quake brings down buildings in central Italy, at least six believed killed

A strong earthquake brought down buildings in central Italy early on Wednesday, trapping residents and sending others fleeing into the streets, with at least six people believed killed.

The worst hit towns were believed to be Accumoli, Amatrice, Posta and Arquata del Tronto, Fire Department spokesman Luca Cari told Reuters, adding that helicopters would be sent up at first light to assess the damage.

The mayor of Accumoli said a number of buildings had been badly damaged.

"Four people are under the rubble, but they are not showing any sign of life. Two parents and two children," Mayor Stefano Petrucci told RAI television.

RAI quoted police as saying two people were known to have died in the nearby village of Pescara del Tronto.

The mayor of the small town of Amatrice reported extensive damage

The other thing about shallow earthquakes, like 10 km, is they do far more surface damage because of the proximity to what lies above the movement.

Earthquakes are measured by seismologists using P (primary) and S (secondary) waves. Of significance when comparing a natural earthquake to an underground nuclear bomb blast is that the bomb lacks an S wave. The S wave is cause by the shearing along a fault plane in an earthquake. http://seismo.berkeley.edu/blog/seismoblog.php/2009/05/25/of-nuclear-bombs-and-earthquakes

Here is an example of typical seismographs from a natural earthquake. Note the small P wave followed by a larger S wave.

Here is a list of seismographs for this event in Italy, for example, select the one from Spain (PAB). Note this event has both P and S waves. Regardless of the station chosen, all have S waves. This looks like a natural earthquake, due to the presence of an S wave, which would be lacking in an underground nuclear blast.

Additionally, if you look at the historical data of this region, you will see that this event happens along a line of other earthquakes from the past (white dots).
