Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim
Because it was grassy and wanted wear,
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I,
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.
Robert Frost

All of us
on different paths
and yet all ending up
in togetherness
one destination
amonst the stars
in eternity.
May we honour all paths,
especially those less travelled.

Loverly, thank you.

I, like most, have come to many crossroads in my life - and I have come to wonder: What if I had taken the other road? Would I have come to the same place? Maybe. I surely would have had different experiences - or would I have?

Wouldn't it be interesting if we could rewind and play it the other way?. . . or is that what reincarnation is all about - playing it the other way.

Oh so many questions and yet so few "for sures". The only thing I know I have "for sure" is this moment. I think I'll go dance in the sunbeams among the wildflowers. Forget housework - although unfortunately, that might be the other for sure - the housework will still be here tomorrow. Damn it! Where are those elves when you need them?

This is a sync wink for me...

Earlier today I noticed a poetry thread and thought I should post my all time favorite poem....Robert Frost's "The Road Not Taken". Checked out the thread and it was talking about poetry we have written. Oh, well.

Just stopped by for a quick look since I have to head to work soon and now here it is...not just posted, but a thread on it!

Love it!

Frost is my favourite and I think of him as the farmer's poet.
Simple words written with love to share a feeling experience.

He captures the essence of the small family farm which is and has always been about variety in nature and sharing love in every moment between all of life.
As a boy I heard this invitation to share many times; and now as a farmer myself I would invite each one of you:

I'm going out to clean the pasture spring;
I'll only stop to rake the leaves away
(And wait to watch the water clear, I may):
I sha'n't be gone long. You come too.

I'm going out to fetch the little calf
That's standing by the mother. It's so young,
It totters when she licks it with her tongue.
I sha'n't be gone long. You come too.
