Just found this on mainstream media (Sydney Morning Herald in Oz), re the top 100 sites infected with Malware.

http://www.smh.com.au/technology/technology-news/top-100-virusinfected-websites-exposed-20090820-erc8.html

Remember when I had a problem a couple of weeks ago? When I downloaded a faux flash player upgrade? I got all sorts of ****e following me around. I downloaded a Malware site on trial.

The last few days when I've logged in to TOT, it flashes up a warning re Malware. I kid you not. Not every time, just now and again.

I wouldn't be surprised if they add all truther sites to commercial malware programmes in future. They will try all sorts of tricks.

Just be aware.

While we are on the subject of scams, if you use paypal. Be careful. I rarely use mine and if I do, I make sure I delete my credit card number off their system, each time after using it.

I used mine recently and got a very real looking email from paypal asking me to verify my information because the last transaction was declined. (It wasn't).

Paypal will always address you by your name, not 'dear customer'. And will never ask you to click on any links to verify anything.

Be aware.
