I've only recently heard about Elon Musk, an entrepreneur with interesting futuristic ideas.
Considering the view of transhumanism (humans merging with technology - google glass, brain chips, identity chips etc), this doesn't seem so far out.
He posits the view that human beings may be in the future, a target of killer robots.
As a young kid watching the Jetsons, did I ever ponder all this would happen in my lifetime. :D
