Hi lovely people,
a friend of mine who is a mother of a fourteen year old boy, has just come to me asking some medical advice.
She has been told by her sons school he has to have a Men-C vaccine and that it is compulsory?
My friend Emma has put her foot down and insisted that she has not signed anything to authorise any vaccine, clever girl.
The school nurse has got quite stroppy as a result saying he must have the injection.
No doubt there are many parents here who may find themselves in the same situation.
My question is this, does anyone here have any information as to the real ingredients of this vaccine?
I have never heard of it before.
I have done a quick google search for listed ingredients but I don't trust google either.
I don't personally believe any vaccine is safe.
When I was young, I can only ever remember ever having one vaccine whilst at school, whereas these days, it seems the kids are forced to have many?

Wish I could be of help highland 1, only thing I know is there are parents here who have refused vaccines for there children and it seems they are being leaned on by the school if they refuse. I know if I had a young child I wouldn't consent to it, seems to be a very touchy subject at this time.

don,t do it.
any vaccine that they say is compusary is bad for you or a they are using students as test subjects.

why do children not have the tb vaccine anymore?
no need ,but we all had it.

daughter was told she had to have the flu vaccine and she refused.
now i heard doctors would not take the flu vaccine.sorry cannot remember source.

Seems like a similar "mandatory" vaccine is being enforced across the pond....

Not a trivial question, means she probably already has an answer and is seeking validation.

sounds to me, she really is asking for an advice on how to avoid an awkward situation after she disallows vaccination.. i am guessing she is a single mother.

i'd say, never mind the ingredients, if the mother says no it's a no.

p.s. it amuses me to read your "the nurse got stroppy" rofl..i'd ask to speak to the nurse, speak to her of her stroppiness and ask if her stroppiness may be a side effect of her statin taking.

the nurse got stroppy..it's absurd

Absurd yes Elbie, but not that unusual in the big pharma production line.

Many doctors and nurses believe they are doing the right thing, as misguided as they are, and those in the know are scared to get struck off if they question the authenticity and application of any medication.

Its exactly the same in the cancer industry.
The Oncologists are only allowed to prescribe chemotherapy, radiotherapy and slash and burn treatment....or get struck off.

This lady has more than a mothers instinct, she is a keen student of this forum as well as others and is still coming to terms with the gross atrocities inflicted upon humanity.

Put it this way, I wouldn't like to be that nurse if Emma pays her a personal visit....

Hi Russ, are u talking about the gardasil injection? Im in Oz and my 14 yr old son did NOT hav this at school, probably the only one.We do not hav a "school nurse" the school brings them in from outside, this mum just needs to stick to her guns so to speak and tell her son to not to accept it if that is what she has decided- my son did not want the vaccine, it may b more difficult for her if her son is not on board with mum..

as for the "stroppy nurse"- its none of her bl..dy business- if i was this mum i would pay the school a visit.. in person

ah well done emma! please extend my regards to her.

sadly, the times are such, we do need to fight for our most basic entitlements.

p.s. i go to my gps, ONLy when there's something acute and extreme, i.e. every blue moon..some weeks ago I went to request a referral for toe specialists. Guess what, before i sat down to tell a locum dr what i was there for, she excitedly reached out for blood pressure meter/machine (!!!!) swear to god , i am not exaggerating.. I was so taken aback and started to explain why i didn't think i needed blood pressure measuring etc..not good enough for her this was and carried on unwrapping the device saying they didn't have my blood pressure level on record. she was getting more and more agitated while I more and more annoyed as she wouldnt hear about what I was there for. It took an undue effort to repel her advances towards my arm. I demanded my referral and got it.

seriously, i was close to saying something rude, like offer to take her blood pressure instead..so much excitement over nothing..plus, she , this locum doctor, was grosely overweight and could do with twice daily blood pressure checking herself. the whole episode was grotesque.

I later checked and learned (via another nhs dr i know personally), that they are being paid extra each time they take someone's blood pressure. disheartening I thought, but helps to know...explains why this idiot got so excited.

This topic is even in the MSM and it is stressed that vaccines are not compulsory.
Also there is something called Gillick competency which gives teenagers right to refuse medical intervention if they are 16 or under if they understand clearly the implications of this.
Another thing is that parents are not legally obliged to give reasons why they refuse vaccination and medical professionals are obliged to provide strong scientific evidence that backs up their actions. They can be held personally responsible for their actions if they fail to provide information for any side effect or complications that may arise.
You might come across this website but just in case you haven't there is some info. http://vaccineriskawareness.com/Vaccination-And-Your-Legal-Rights

Doctors say no compulsory vaccines
Doctors leaders have rejected the idea of compulsory immunisation for children in the UK, according to a new report.

The British Medical Association has published a report on childhood immunisation on the eve of its annual conference.

It calls on doctors and health workers to stress to parents that vaccination is the safest and most effective way to protect children from infectious disease.

They should therefore be encouraged to choose immunisation for their children.

However the BMA said it did not support the idea of compulsory vaccinations.

BMA Chairman Dr Ian Bogle said: "We have looked carefully at the issue of compulsory vaccination and it is true that some countries do operate immunisation programmes where there is some degree of compulsion.

"However the BMA does not think this would be right for the United Kingdom.

"The doctor-patient relationship is based on trust, choice and openness and we think introducing compulsory vaccination may be harmful to this."

The report also looked at the issue of whether parents should have a choice of vaccine, for example single doses instead of the triple MMR jab.

Parents first became worried about MMR after a paper in 1999 speculated about a possible link between the jab and autism and bowel disease. The report pointed out that the paper did not prove any link and only one of the 13 authors suggested that MMR should be given as separate injections one year apart. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-186604/Doctors-say-compulsory-vaccines.html

So how mandatory is mandatory?
In holland we (stil) have a right to say no.

All our children are instructed not to sign any forms or talk to any medical staff without us knowing about it.
Our youngest 2 teachers were instructed about the same..

Every now and then we get a form with a gazilion questions about our family composition, medical backgrounds etc. We usualy fill in just the name and no we do not fill in this questionaire and no we would not like to explain. on several occasions the nurse/doctor felt the urge to call us in the evening, even on sundays to ask for an explanation and give a speech about medical care..

Any way as long as there is no law mandating she has to have one. She doen't. Just gear up to answer loads of stupid questions and be seen as a bad parrent.
Then stay vigilant as over here anyway 14 year old can make some decisions themselves by law here. so the may work on the boy instead. asking him why he doesn't get vaccinated and fill his thoughts with fear if he doesn't.

Some schools though do have a "right" to refuse someone without their vaccines.

With Love
Eelco
