I had a quick look to see what prayed on moray eels and this is what came up,
moray eels but also large groupers, barracudas.

Also there eye sight is not that strong but relie on a very strong sence of smell.

From an moray eels point of view needing to be wary of its own kind seems quit lonely. Finding love seems quit unique for the eel.

I think ronin your spot on transformation of humanity would have an exponential effect on the animals on planet earth.
