Wal Thornhill looked critically at the assumptions behind the recent MAVEN Mars Probe (Mars Atmosphere and Volatile Evolution Mission.) The probe, NASA says, seeks to measure the loss of volatiles from the Martian atmosphere in order to draw conclusions about the planet's remote past. He reminded us that all of the scientific objectives of the MAVEN Mission were developed under standard assumptions about a 4 billion-year old solar system. What's more, Wal showed how, under the inertia of belief systems, evidence can be distorted or ignored and contrasted this with the rapidly accumulating evidence for a highly catastrophic and recent history of Mars."

Ever since Penzias and Wilson discovered that the Earth was surrounded by microwave energy, astronomers have been quick to postulate that the apparent ~3K signal represented the signature of the Big Bang. Yet long ago, Gustav Kirchhoff insisted that the setting of temperatures, using the laws of thermal emission, required enclosure. Clearly, the Big Bang can never meet this requirement. In this presentation, it will be demonstrated that the microwave fields, which surround the earth and have excited distant molecules, can be generated by the hydrogen bond within water in the condensed state. A review of the COBE and WMAP will be presented, revealing that the microwave anisotropy maps have no scientific validity. The data lack both signal to noise and reproducibility. Furthermore, the PLANCK satellite findings will be discussed. These data provide unambiguous evidence that powerful microwave fields do not exist at L2. Penzias and Wilson measured water on Earth. The correct assignment of this signal is vital to better understanding our own planet.

Pierre-Marie Robitaille, PhD is a Professor of Radiology at The Ohio State University, with a joint appointment in Chemical Physics. He initially trained as a spectroscopist and has wide ranging knowledge of instrumentation in the radio and microwave bands.

A recognized expert in image acquisition and analysis, Professor Robitaille was responsible for doubling the world record in Magnetic Resonance Imaging in 1998. In 2000, he turned his attention to thermodynamics and astrophysics, demonstrating that the universality advanced in Kirchhoff's Law of Thermal Emission is invalid. He has published extensively on the microwave background, highlighting that this signal arises from water on the Earth and has no relationship to cosmology and has recently published a paper on the Liquid Metallic Hydrogen Solar Model (LMHSM)."

In his talk, Piers Corbyn described the failure of standard meteorology (SM) in outlook, theory, and practice. He included: signals in real meteorology data unexplained by SM; real role of jet stream, stratosphere, electro-jets, magnetosphere, solar wind, solar corona, and the Moon; the total inability of SM to explain: sudden stratospheric warmings and its consequences, tropical storm intensifications, angular momentum concentration in tornadoes; and the need for something else such as electromagnetic plasma explanations; the theoretical basis of non-standard long range weather forecasting on a real planet; a summary on his WeatherAction forecasting skill and examples; and the future of forecasting and meteorology, climate 'science' and science in general.

Piers Corbyn began recording weather and climate patterns at the age of five, constructing his own observation equipment. He obtained a first-class honors degree in physics at Imperial College London.

In 1969, he became the first president of the Imperial College Students' Union to be directly elected by the student body. He later studied astrophysics in 1979 at Queen Mary College, London, and then began examining the relationship between Earth's weather and climate and solar activity.

In Dr. Latour's presentation, physics, chemistry, mathematics, engineering, economics, history and ethics are deployed to identify the barriers to designing the thermostat to control Earth's atmospheric temperature by adjusting its CO2 input. He will explains that Earth's temperature is a chemical process system. Dr. Donald Scott described his investigation of the inherent properties of Birkeland currents and subsequent discovery that they produce unexpectedly far-reaching magnetic fields in cosmic space. These fields collect matter and compress it into concentric hollow cylinders. They also produce a long-range attractive force on other such currents. Without involving mathematics, Scott describes the results of his analysis of the magnetic structures that are produced by, and that surround, Birkeland Currents. This work and its results gives new insight into the understanding of the electrical properties of space.

Dr. Scott earned his Bachelors and Masters degrees in Electrical Engineering at the University of Connecticut. He earned a Doctorate in Electrical Engineering at the Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Worcester, Massachusetts, and was a member of the faculty of the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering at the University of Massachusetts/Amherst from 1959 until his retirement in 1998. During that time he was the recipient of several good-teaching awards and authored numerous scientific papers and chapters. In 1987, the McGraw-Hill Book Company published his 730-page textbook, An Introduction To Circuit Analysis -- A Systems Approach. In addition, Dr. Scott published the classic, Electric Sky (2006), 256 pages of compelling material on the Electric Universe and plasma cosmology.

Dr. Michael Clarage shares new observations of some of the complexities of the Earth's electrical environment. Kirchhoff's law of thermal emission (formulated in 1860) is presented and demonstrated to be invalid. This law is crucial to our understanding of radiation within arbitrary cavities. Kirchhoff's law rests at the heart of condensed matter physics and astrophysics. Stephen Crothers presented the case that Black Holes and the Big Bang have been created by theorists and never observed. Black Holes are now said to be both invisible and visible. Quasars are now black holes; so are the 'blazars'. Individual black holes are also alleged x-ray sources. It is claimed that galaxies harbor a super-massive black hole at their centers, along with other black holes dispersed throughout them. All these black holes exist in an alleged expanding big bang universe. However, black hole universes are inconsistent with big bang universes. The audience were taken through the salient facts one step at a time in this riveting mostly non-mathematical presentation. The math of General Relativity has a notorious reputation for its complexity but most of the important facts can be understood by the layman and specialist alike without any mathematics.

Crothers is a preeminent mathematician, counted among the most competent critics of modern cosmology (including both the General Theory of Relativity and popular theory of the Big Bang). He has also gained much attention for his systematic unraveling of standard Black Hole theory, showing that the mathematical model of a Black Hole follows neither from observation nor from any logical reasoning from Einstein's General Theory of Relativity.

David Novak was the Master of Ceremony for EU2014 to rave reviews. He is a performance storyteller and arts educator and creator of The Storytellers' Compass, a method of narrative wayfinding. He has spoken at numerous theatres and festivals all over the country. Mr. Novak has been guest instructor for the University of San Diego, International Storytelling Institute, Oklahoma Arts Institute, John Campbell Folk School, and Walt Disney Imagineering. In 1995/96, he was Master Storyteller for the Disney Institute in Orlando, Florida. Internationally he has toured China, New Zealand, Hong Kong, and the Czech Republic. For nearly 150 years despite the lack of observational evidence, the Sun has been considered to be a ball of gaseous material. Such a postulate rests on mathematical arguments. Nonetheless, observations, not mathematics, properly determine the phases of matter. In this light, a systematic review of 40 solar findings provides ample proof that the Sun is comprised of condensed matter In this presentation, the phase of the Sun will be discussed by contrasting the gas-based Standard Solar Model (SSM) with the Liquid Metallic Hydrogen Solar Model (LMHSM). Unlike the SSM, the LMHSM does not permit the Sun to radiate internally. This is the third of three talks the Dr. Robitaille presented at EU2014.

The SAFIRE Project will first consider the model of the Electric Sun (ES), as put forward by Wal Thornhill, Don Scott, and Ralph Jeurgens. The ES model suggests: 1) That all stars, the Sun included, are electrical in nature and exist in a galactic electrical environment; 2) Some of the physical attributes of the Sun and its Corona are not explicable through the standard fusion model originated by Hans Bethe in 1938; and 3) Many of these anomalous Solar attributes can be explained by assuming the Sun is at different electrical potential than its surroundings.

The basic approach is to create an environment as similar as possible to the conditions of the Sun and to assumed conditions of the ES model. Known anomalous characteristics of the Sun and Corona can then be correlated with measurements from SAFIRE. It is also possible that the project could dispel some long-held assumptions of mainstream Solar Physics, such as "Electric fields do not exist in Coronal plasmas," or "Magnetic fields can exist in the vacuum of space without corresponding electric fields."

Dr. Ed Dowdye: Solar Gravitation and Solar Plasma Wave Propagation on Interaction | EU2014

Dr. Edward Dowdye is a laser optics engineer and former NASA physicist who argues the case for classical mechanics in attempting to explain observational quandaries that had hitherto remained the province of abstract theories like Einstein's Relativity. In his presentation this year, Dr. Dowdye tackled one of the most widely touted predictions of General Relativity (GRT), namely the bending of light paths by massive objects. He presented compelling empirical evidence that the direct relationship between light and gravitation in vacuum space does not exist. Crucially, he pointed out that when GRT was conceived, plasma was unknown, and the limb of the Sun was considered to be a boundary between the photosphere and the vacuum of space. Dr. Dowdye takes account of what is now known to be a plasma atmosphere surrounding the Sun to considerable altitude and applies Gauss's law of gravitation and conventional optics to the problem.

Martian areography tells a story of incredibly violent events. It appears from the many images sent to Earth that it once experienced powerful plasma discharges on a massive scale. Burned and blasted craters, piles of scorched dust covering almost an entire hemisphere, and great trenches that wend across its scarred face lead to the conclusion that lightning thousands or millions of times more energetic than known today devastated Mars. Steve Smith discussed some of the more unusual features on Mars, presumably caused by those cataclysmic upheavals. Red/blue anaglyph images will provide a unique perspective. The modern awareness that plasma composes most of the universe requires a reevaluation of theories dating from earlier times. Plasma is electrically active and employs forces that can be many times stronger than those of mechanical erosion and tectonics. One possible model envisions the globe enveloped in plasma discharges within the memory of humans. Material from space and from electrical erosion of the surface was suddenly sorted and deposited electrically to a great depth. Dust, sand, gravel, rocks, boulders, coal, and oil accumulated wherever there was dry land. Red-hot dust blown by electrically generated tornado-like winds built up strata in place: “plastered” against obstructions in a manner similar to welded material. Flooding filled the valleys between the mountains with sediments. Where electrical activity was strong enough, the loose material was lithified and even metamorphosed. In this presentation, the Four Corners region in the US is presented as an example.
