Hi All, does anyone have any suggestions for treatment of RSI of hand and arm apart from cessation of action that caused it and use of brace/splint? Any suggestions appreciated, thanks lookbeyond

Hello lovely , well .. Vitamin B6 (found in meat, fish, nuts, beans, whole grains, avocados and bananas) and omega-3 fatty acids (oily fish, nuts, seeds) may help keep your joints supple. Some naturopathic practitioners recommend cleansing the body of toxins with a detox diet to treat RSI symptoms.

Comfrey in a cream is good

And in Homeopathy Ruta is often used for tendon injuries.

Essential oils for muscle stiffness are helpful , peppermint, lavender, ginger and eucalyptus. Mix with a carrier oil (almond or olive oil, for example) and massage .

Bless you it's painful . Xx

Castor oil packs. (http://heritagestore.com/categories/castor-oil-therapy/castor-oil-pack-kit.html)

Basically you have wool flannel saturated with the oil, wrapped around the affected area, and heated with a pad or a hot water bottle, leave on 1-2 hours thinking positively or reading something "inspirational", not watching TV. Take 2 tsp of olive oil after doing the pack, which protects the liver from any toxins that might get released from the pack.

Make a massage oil with the following: frankincense and ginger for joints and peppermint and eucalyptus to boost circulation (and thus to promote healing).

I would highly recommend the book "The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook" by Clair Davies, you can work miracles with it.
