I thought people here might like to see this video. It's a video in which a group of children/young adults all with Down syndrome contribute towards a message for a mother who's just been told her developing baby also has Down Syndrome. In the words of kids today "dem feels" lol. Isn't this just awesome? Who could put her better at ease?

That video left me with a big smile;:) hearing the words in all the various languages, expressed by the children and a few adults.

In the words of kids today "dem feels" lol. Isn't this just awesome? Absolutely. I also liked the next video that played automatically after yours ended. (I noticed YT has been reprogrammed again?) What I liked was there were more adults in it.

DS adults are productive valuable employees and did you know, they would NEVER steal from you.

From the time we're born, no one had to teach us to lie. We've got that one mastered; no training/instruction necessary.

I've been curious about the variables concerning theft (some do and some don't) and wonder if it's sandwiched in our chromosomes. Time to stop thinking and get to bed.

The primary school I sent my daughter to, had Down's syndrome children mixed in. Thay are the most loving souls you could meet. Their compleatly unabashed at running up and giving big hugs, I know it warmed my daughters hart. They still carry the original light for that much longer.
Also I understood Down's syndrome were new souls to earth and needed a gentler start here.
At first it might appear a worry, but really a blessing.

My friend from Denmark asked me once about the reason for them being the way they are, because her little sister was a Down's Syndrome girl . the answer I received was that they wish to live spirituality in a different way. In later life her sister wanted to know more about god and called out I love you God, and she lit up like a christmas tree when she almost saw a face looking down at her as if she was the most special girl in the world. Since her life was so pure, she went Home, so my friend Gunhilde now tells me because she too has gone Home. She had been one of those from Eternity who came to bring Light to us as we go through the changes from the age of Pisces into the Age of Aquarius. Down's stories are special ones indeed since they do not have to limit who or what they are, so they can joyfully live a life in innosence.

Thank you SK.

Much needed balance with unabated nuggetry running wild these days.

My oldest son had "apraxia" and was unable to make many sounds necessary for speech even by age 3. He communicated via inflections.

He (we) were quite fortunate with special services provided even in the public school system (guess rockysmeller missed that one) and he is now a junior in high school.

Anyway ... heart warming vid.

Thanks Malcolm. This is perfect. From my point of view, it is completely spot on. Things are as they are.

Not only don't they steal but they never tell a lie: they will always tell you the truth about how they feel.

Hey everybody, I thought you'd all like to see this if you haven't already seen it. It's about a man called Tim who has Down syndrome. He opened up a restaurant where he gives the customers hugs too to make them feel nice. He seems like he would be a kind man to work for, as from the little we see, he seems to treat his staff well. It's brilliant, it really is.

That is too lovely for words.

I just hope some people don't take advantage.

Always need people to make sure others don't take advantage.

That's what people like we are, are here for.

Not only don't they steal but they never tell a lie: they will always tell you the truth about how they feel.

this is a statement that really does offend.
not only they? who are they?
a person with a ds or mental illness?
so who is a they?

again by Babara
They teach us to love unconditionally. Something the world needs to heal itself.

what with the (they)
we are all human no matter what or how we come to be here.
this is our experience?
you wanna say you have mental health problems or DS and class them as a they.

sorry folks to disrupt your world but every being being born is not as they are suppose to be or something else.

who the fook are you to judge.

if i have a mental illness that i do not comphrehend,is it a mental illness.
are the leaders of our world not psychopaths killing millions?
are the millions who believe in the vocations of the Vatican not mentally impaired or brainwashed?

yes some of us do have a mental condition due to the lies that we are taught and the conditions we have to live in.

depending on your veiwpiont is it a mental illness or a mental escapism that we see?

putting a label on someone else is a failure to see yourself.
