Spend less money when raising a child by adhering to some easy, common-sense ideas - like the following...

Bulk diapers are better

If you do not have the stamina and easy access to laundry businesses that make using cloth diapers possible, you are going to need lots of disposable diapers. It has been estimated that during infant years, as much as $1,100 is spent on disposables. If you buy them in bulk, however, you can save hundreds. Watch for sales and shop at discount warehouse stores. Do not necessarily jump at the cheapest brand, however, as some inexpensive disposables rupture and can cause a painful rash. Do your research!

Keeping it neutral

You can save cash on a second and 3rd kid if all of your clothes are gender neutral. This way, you can dress your babies in the same outfits.

Bringing up a kid and saving money tip No. 3 - DIY gifts and wrapping paper

Get crafty from an early stage and make some homemade toys and gifts that your kids can take to birthday parties. But do not stop there. You can save a lot on wrapping paper by making it yourself from various papers and magazines you have at home. Or at the very least, you should stock up on paper after Christmas.

Be sure you have leftovers

Make sure you cook extra servings of dinner regularly, and then you can have leftovers later. You can save a lot of money by doing this. You can just pack them away and reheat later.

Safety is cash

It is certainly worth the cash to put money into keeping your home as secure as possible. You can avoid the emergency room and save hundreds of dollars.
