Hi All,

If you can, please sign this petition. Like you I am bombarded with stuff all the time, sign this, sign that. I was going to post it in 'Amanda's post' about child abuse, but thought a brand new post would bring it to a higher visibility.

I feel I have to do something for this family. We all make a difference. Just One Voice can crack that 100 monkey syndrome, or whatever it's called. (Sorry, I am dog tired).

Please sign for the children. We can do this, little by little. Us all making a difference.:winner:

Love Sooz

They now have 70,000 signatures!

More is needed, please send to your families, friends and forums.

We are at tipping point of all this sh!te being exposed.

On so many levels.

I really understand and think its great that so many people sign these online petitions, I've signed many myself. The issue which concerns me is that in Canada, the House of Commons will only accept petitions signed in ink on paper. They will not accept or even look at online ones. Surely Canada can't be the only government to pass this, no?

Ok, I found this: http://www.aph.gov.au/About_Parliament/Senate/Powers_practice_n_procedures/Brief_Guides_to_Senate_Procedure/No_7

If you follow the link to the section of "petitions must conform with standing orders"
It states the answer to my question in the 3rd point.
...

Sorry guys to be a bummer :(

EVEN IF, the "law" were otherwise and actually accepted signatures online (like it does for inked ones) I still wouldn't buy it. I'm deeply saddened to say that unless it is through force or proactive none co-operation, laws are bent, twisted and maintained in the manner they were written......the protection of the few.

But, maybe I'm wrong- I'd rather be wrong :) if you follow further there is a section on one line petitions.
